“Tuba is a wonderful chef whose delicious food brought back warm memories of my trip to Turkey decades ago. Tuba came to our house last year to teach a group of friends and I how to make an array of classic Turkish dishes. It was a fun night with shared stories of food and other adventures. I highly recommend asking her to cater for you, or dive right in and ask her to come and show you how it’s done!“

Meat is charred on a hot plate before serving (always a winner for me).Lots of veggies and sauces make it awesome as well.Only thing that would make it better is the sandwich bread is toasted (instead of just heated in the microwave) before serving. Also gave complimentary spring rolls!“

“Great atmosphere and exceptional service! We attended a dinner event with a large party and were impressed by the staff's willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was truly delicious, and the house-made Ayran drink was particularly outstanding. While I enjoyed several dishes, the iskandar kebab stood out as my favorite. However, the appetizers were only average, and there is room for improvement in that area.“

“We were looking for a breakfast place to pass the time while a family member had a medical procedure, and decided to try something beyond the usual breakfast chains that are all around now. So glad we stumbled on this small cafe, on the lower level of the Atriums. As we’d started our day quite early we were looking for something substantial, and the Turkish breakfast fit the bill. It is meant to serve two, and came with two simits (similar to a bagel), a dish of menemen (scrambled egg in a tomato/pepper/onion sauce, with sausage), and a platter of spreads and toppings. We subbed coffee for the included tea.It was our first time having Turkish breakfast so I don’t have a baseline to compare it to, but we enjoyed it quite a bit. The simits were fresh and the variety of toppings really made this meal. There is limited dine-in space, but most folks were just grabbing coffee and pastry to go, so that wasn’t a problem. I saw a review from a few months ago noting that it was quite dark—perhaps they have improved the lighting since, because it was plenty bright on our visit. We took a few pastries to go for later in the day. The pear and almond tart was a favourite, and the chocolate-walnut cookie was delicious too. The almond croissant was tasty but not the best I’ve had. Do note, if it is a concern for you, that most of the pastries contain nuts, and they are all in a shared bakery case. This was not an issue for our party but someone with a nut allergy might not find much here they could sample. The lunch sandwich menu sounded amazing, and if we’re in the area again we would return midday to try that!“

“For those who like tasty food, good tea and coffee, as well as a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of Istanbul, this is definitely the right place. The drink menu for the morning and afternoon is very complete, in addition to having many sweet and savory options. Right at the entrance you can drink water that is courtesy of the house, as in all places in CanadaService is direct at the cashier and you take your order to the table yourself. The atmosphere is very pleasant, quiet and welcoming with good service.Unfortunately, they do not have accessibility for people with physical disabilities, such as users of wheelchairs and walkers, and they do not have a menu in Braille. For those with children, unfortunately they do not have high chairs. The cafe is close to the Eglinton metro station, the bus terminal and several shops.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, they do not have accessibility for people with physical disabilities, such as users of wheelchairs and walkers, and they do not have a menu in Braille.“

Ali Nazik was great if you enjoy eggplant and yogurt. If you have kids then they do have a hamburger which my son loved and he is usually a picky eater. Live band was late due to weather but the vibe was great when they started. It does get very loud however when they are playing.“
