“Absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to Balzac's Cafe!
The atmosphere at this cafe is nothing short of enchanting. It’s a cozy haven with a perfect blend of modern and classic charm, making it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor that enhances the overall experience.
The service was exceptional. Every staff member, especially the Turkish young man working there, was incredibly polite and friendly. His warm demeanor and attentive service truly made my visit memorable.
The coffee was simply divine—rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. Paired with their delicious cookies and buns, it was a delightful treat for the taste buds. The quality of the baked goods is top-notch, and the combination of their coffee with these sweet treats was pure bliss.
Highly recommend Balzac's Cafe for anyone looking for a great atmosphere, outstanding service, and fantastic coffee and pastries. I’ll definitely be returning!“

“I came here for my birthday dinner. Little hesitant on the service but pleasantly surprised. She was great. Food lacked a little flavour but the chili oil helped. Didn’t feel rushed. Overall it was great. Would come back.
Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian but ordered spicy rigatoni no meat and no problems.“

“I ordered out. Catering. I love their food. The chicken, rice potatoes and salad. We get it often. For family functions or parties. Never sat inside. But been there to pay and to pick up my order.looks very cozy. Friendly atmosphere. Large tvs on the wall. Not too loud. Very nice people.if I had time to go out for drinks, that would definitely be the place I'd choose. Being close to home. Highly recommend their food. Mike the owner a good dude. He'll set you up“

“Nice place to get some work and have a meal. Had a tomato soup yesterday. It was 5/5, it was warm and well made. The breakfast plate with scrambled eggs was okay.. could be better. The bacon, fries and toast was amazing! Overall, had a good time, would visit again“

“I consumed "a grab n go sangwich ", today.
It was awesome . The bread was fantastic..the meats were brilliant..the cheese..everything was A Taste Sensation!!.
I recommend.. especially for a trades person who has to be quick.
The restaurant itself looked pretty kewl and the staff weren't half bad either. Ha Ha.

“Initially thinking this was a full-on Vietnamese restaurant, we ended up skipping this on our list of places to go…
But we had to come back for dessert and drinks!
The person behind the counter was helpful and courteous, even though she was making everyone herself and taking all the orders (think of a single person working at a Starbucks and you’ll know what I mean).
Every drink was customized, she made our mochi waffles, and offered great suggestions for add-ons with drinks.
It was a great place to sit down and enjoy some time with family, but I’m sure it is a hopping place when all the games come out.

“Never had bubble tea but while waiting for my other half at another store decided to give a try. Had the coconut milk tea with strawberry bubbles its very good. The barista was also very friendly and welcoming. I'll be back.“

“Was driving back from a cottage weekend and wanted to hit up a coffee shop with a bit of character. This place was great! Converted Ontario house into a coffee shop, nice patio and had some solid coffee. The owner was there who was very kind. Will stop again next time I pass by this area“

“Came here for a little treat on my birthday. I ordered the pistachio cannoli and a mocha. The cannoli was nice and crunchy with a delicious freshly piped filling. The cannoli was fairly filling. The mocha also tasted good and was well priced.“

“I was in the area and wanted to go to a mom-and-pop cafe rather than your Starbucks. I’m so glad I found this place. The moment you walked in, the service was amazing and the food even better. I made the mistake of bringing home an espresso shot to my husband 30 mins later thinking it would go flat. But he was amazed at the quality, creaminess, and non-bitter taste the espresso was still able to withhold. While the espresso and latte I ordered tasted amazing, THE SANDWICH is the star of the show. I got a cold cut sandwich made the way the primo boys eat it on a croissant. I’m still drooling even after eating it.“

“I recently planned my daughter’s birthday at Spin and it was such a great experience. Joe (who I believe is the manager/owner) created a set menu for the evening and printed it for each guest with a cute birthday design and even personalized with her name. He let me bring balloons and table deco before hand and set it up so when we arrived it was ready. It’s tough to find somewhere to go for a young teen bday but this was a great option! The group loved the food and service. I’ll definitely be going back to support this business!“

“I order from here quite often when I get a waffle craving, but this week me and my wife rode up on our bikes and the gentleman at the counter was so kind and did an awesome job.
Their waffles are made fresh and they have a great selection of toppings. They have crepes too if that's more your style. Thanks a bunch!“

“I love this café chain! The combination of great espresso, almond croissant, and an amazing interior is truly top-notch. It's funny that one of the best cafés in Toronto is connected to a women's clothing store, so I always feel a bit strange going in just for a coffee, but oh well! :-)“

“Nice little place by the humber clinic, after the clinic i would come here and have their breakfast platter which is fairly priced at 7$ and includes 3 eggs 2 sausages or bacon pieces, 2 slices of toast and home made sliced potato. The lady that owns the place is very friendly and caters to you. Its a small cute place doesn't get too busy which is great for my anxiety :)“

“Stopped by at this location to treat myself and what I liked about this location is that they had a good variety of items available on display and I could get what I wanted vs. making do with what is left over. I've been to a few Tim Hortons and hated getting there and they had no variety of Timbits or little to no baked items i.e., croissants, donuts, cookies, etc., especially in the later afternoon. Service was quick and the location is ideal and close to other great stores i.e., Shoppers Drug Mart. I'd come back to this location in the future“

“I started working recently in the area and within walking distance I noticed a coffee shop that isn't the usual Tim Horton(s). And Donuts! Big delicious freshly baked Donuts! And "old style" donuts! The banana cream! Blueberry and Boston creme are delicious and massive! And the glazed chocolate is incredible! The coffee is also very good! And veggie Samosas and pizza are available to order for lunch/dinner. Lots of parking too and places to sit and eat inside. And the owner is very nice!“

“I’ve been in Brampton for over 40 years and I came to have some lunch at that Italian place last week. I’m back again today.this is some of the finest Italian food I’ve tasted everything is so fresh, pasta was delicious and the Sugo like we say in Italy was fresh, tasty and no acid. I had wood burning pizza today, excellent. To the chef I must say your good All the best I’m your customer for life because I like fresh real food no matter what the cost“

“My friend and I were visiting a farm close by and made a pitstop on the way. We ordered 2 cappuccino, double chocolate muffin and blueberry scone. Hands down to the muffin and scone. It was absolutely perfect with the sugar level and moist. It’s not overly sweetened. It was good size portion as well. It’s a small establishment. So, may not have sufficient place on a crowded day. However, there are sufficient chairs and tables to cater. They do have alternate milk options for those who don’t want dairy
Parking: As it’s on the main road, there is limitation on the road side parking.“
