“After following Elijah's Automatic (online) for about a year, I was finally in the area and able to try it! It did not disappoint! My Texas heart and stomach were full and satisfied! My Husband had the steak enchilada plate & I had the steak (carne asada) burrito. We also ordered a side of Beast Fries & 2 donuts. Oh my goodness!
We obviously had to try each others food, and yes, the enchilada & burrito were so flavorful and perfect in all the right ways. The tortilla, the steak, beans, rice, cheese, the spice level- everything came together like the most beautiful symphony!
The fries were superb as well, although we could only take a few bites since we were so full already.
We took the donuts (sour cream & strawberry filled) to-go, and those were the perfect sweet treats!

“The poutine was amazing and lived up to the hype. It reminded me of highschool! The fries were perfectly crispy, generous amount of cheese that was layered in and the gravy was heavenly. I also had the wings and the sauce was unique/ homemade and my preferred level of medium spice.“

“Amazing Korean comfort food and super satisfying portions. The stone pot bibimbap was hot and crispy with a perfectly runny egg, and the kimchi stew was rich and flavorful. The blood sausage was also a standout and tasted very authentic. Loved all the banchan on the side too — everything felt fresh and well balanced. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when craving Korean food!“

“Been going to The Horn for many, many years. We've gotten to know all the staff who are absolutely amazing. It's one of our regular spots in the neighbourhood to have a delish local lager (or three, who are we kidding, right Dave?!) a munchie and chill on one of the best backyard patios in the city. There's always a game on and the vibe on the inside is laid back and comfy. Kristin and the crew are all gems! 5/5!“

Diary Freeze has been serving up the citizens of Toronto with the best and most authentic old school burgers!

I love the charm of the old stye dinner where the person taking your order is repeating it into a microphone and the cooks are wearing that 1950s Soda Jerk Paper Caps.

Been going to Dairy Freeze since I was very young and haven't been back in years, when I stepped inside and through those doors today I felt like I was transported back to my younger years when everything was carefree and exciting.

The food is still tasty as delicious as ever.

Nestled in the heart of St. Clair Avenue West and Caledonia this place pulls in everyone from the neighbourhood. Students, little children, parents, the working class, retirees and anyone else who enjoys a true authentic burger. When the food is that great how can you resist!

I had the cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and soda.

The quality of the cheeseburger is next to none. Great quality meat cooked to perfection with those amazing grill marks for extra flavor. The fries are nice and golden and so crispy! You cannot get crispy anywhere! The onion rings are probably the best onion rings in Toronto. Thick cut onions and a delicious thick and crispy batter. The soda's have a really nice syrupy and crisp flavor to them. They also have malt vinegar which you can never find at a burger joint. The malt vinegar goes so well with the fries so make sure you ask for a couple of packages of the malt vinegar when you visit Dairy Freeze. And they have the old style wooden forks for your fries just like when we we're younger! I told you stepping into Dairy Freeze burger joint is like stepping back into time!

So if you're hungry and in the mood for some top notch delicious burgers and feel like coming home, then definitely head on out to Dairy Freeze.

Your taste buds and soul will thank you.
