“I've been to Chungchun Rice Dog a few times now, and I have to say, the food never disappoints. Every order comes out hot and fresh, and you can really taste the quality in the batter and the fillings. The rice dogs are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, just the way they should be. They have a good variety of toppings and sauces too, so you can mix it up each time.

The staff are always friendly and patient, even when it gets busy. They take the time to explain the menu if you're unsure, and they make sure your order is made just the way you like it. That kind of service makes a big difference. Overall, it's a great spot for a quick, tasty snack. I'll definitely be back.“

“Hands down the best smashed burgers in the area, my family’s favorite to be honest. Simple and perfect. Buns were soft, beef seasoned perfectly, sliced cheese, caramelized onions and their house sauce. I’m hungry typing this. Their chicken burgers are good as well, I would prefer beef more. My brother loved the chicken more, so I believe it’s pretty good as welll. The hotdogs are okay, I only tried those because that’s the only 3rd main item on the menu out of 3. Lol. Regardless, the same line, best halal burgers in the area.
Their mango cream is also good, has that really good hint of cardamom.“

“Visited the Yorkdale Shake Shack today and ordered the Shroom Burger. Unfortunately, the fried mushroom patty was a bit overcooked and darker than expected.

That said, I would still like to recognize the excellent service I received. One staff member was constantly cleaning and maintaining the dining area, and the restaurant was noticeably clean as a result.

What impressed me most was that while I was dining alone, this staff member proactively came over to ask if I would like a glass of water, and even asked whether I preferred warm or cold water. I honestly did not expect this level of attentiveness in a fast-casual, self-service restaurant.

Although my burger was not perfect, this employee’s thoughtfulness and dedication to customer service really stood out and made my visit a positive experience. A big thank you to this staff member — they deserve recognition! 👍🏼“

“Downtown Toronto right under the CN tower. We are here after going to a show at the convention centre. Wonderful family business, friendly and prices are amazing. We order two hot dogs and fries with two pops came out to be $30. Best hot dog you will ever eat, the taste was so flavourful and it was huge. i got a beef and mozzarella hot dog (+ the corn flake topping) combo with sweet chili & bbq on the side (for the fries). it was absolutely delicious, perfectly fried, the corn flakes tasted a bit caramelized, and the fries were perfectly soft and crunchy at the same time. i wish i had taken pictures of the meal, it was so delicious

I’ve never really been a corn dog person, but that Volcano Dog was GOOD. Crispy on the outside, loaded with flavor, and way better than I expected.

It's one of our regular spots in the neighbourhood to have a delish local lager (or three, who are we kidding, right Dave?!) a munchie and chill on one of the best backyard patios in the city.
