“Always a great late night snack or last minute dinner option. This location is smaller than the Scarborough one but offers the same options. The Gamsung (little potatoes on the outside) is my go to option but tbh, everything here is good. You can get really creative with how you customize the toppings and sauces.“
“Ordered burgers, sweet potato fries and Nutella shake. All food surprised me, delicious!!!Especially the shake, like drinking Nutella but not too sweetness, tastes balanced, contain peanuts.Providing free parking near building, ask cashier for details.“
“Think this is my top Persian sandwich pick in the neighborhood! Sandwiches are more of a lunch thing for me, so I only recently got to visit Max Sandwich. Unlike other Persian sandwich places in the area that open for lunch, Max Sandwich opens around 4:30 pm. Their Lovely Steak sandwich is a hefty creation that could easily be mistaken for a small baby in weight. It's a feast for both the eyes and the stomach. Priced at around $21 after tax, it might seem a bit steep, but considering it lasted me for two meals, it's quite reasonable. The massive sandwich is generously loaded with beef, cheese, and their special sauce, put between delightfully soft bread (finally, the roof of my mouth is safe from the wrath of hard bread!). Service isn't the fastest as it takes a bit of time to prepare the sandwich. But they pack it so nicely. With friendly service and a simple, takeout-focused ambiance, Max Sandwich is a place where the focus is rightfully placed on the delicious food. I'll be back for sure.“
“If you know, you know!Soloways has been our dirty little secret for get togethers for a long time! They offer all sorts of sausages, hotdogs, burgers, buns and condiments. They supply the hotdog carts of Toronto but are open to the public.“
“Absolutely love this place!I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and they gave me sauce on the side, it was perfect you could dip and try the different types of sauces they had to offer! I got ketchup and spicy mayo.I ended up going back with a friend ! ( it was their first time) I ordered the same thing as last time because I really liked it! Asked for ketchup mayo and I wanted to try sweet mayo. She began putting them directly on the rice dogs. I had no idea they came on it … and not on the side, as this is how they were served the first time I had them!Super disappointed because I live 1 hour away and wanted to take it home to air fry but couldn’t because the sauces on them.Other than the sauce experience I will be back and just asking for my sauce on the side ✅?Friendly staff!Needs a small seating area!“
“The single tastiest hamburger I've ever had. It was worth every dollar, and I would definitely go back. I had the Animal Double with fries and I couldn't believe how tasty the patties were. Super fresh, nice seasoning, perfectly cooked. Keep up the great work!“
“I recently had the pleasure of discovering Kordog, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to spot for the most delightful corn dogs in Toronto. I had the pleasure of eating the original Korean corn dog and the banana flavoured boba with tteok-bokki. The food tasted amazing and it was delivered rather quickly. I really loved the food here and the friendliness of the workers and the clean and friendly atmosphere. I definitely would be coming back here, and I happily rate this place a 5/5.Parking: Lots of parking space & easy to park.Kid-friendliness: Workers here are very friendly. The workers here have great customer service.“
“They always have fresh and delicious hot dogs and sausages. I’ve never had the poutines or burgers though but they look good too. I remember how cheap these used to be back in the day and now they’re quite expensive but still worth it when you’re craving for juicy and satisfying comfort food!“
“well paul and his wife no longer at this location and food is not what it used to be hot dogs are smaller portions are smaller fries not as good huge fail mark won't go back there ever again ...... zero stars but wont let me change this“
“Best burger joint in Toronto my go to spot I’m gluten free and 10 times I’ve came here and 10 times no allergy reaction. Shout out to Dean and Shreya super amazing service and very knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination and thank you Shreya for letting my girlfriend use your phone and charger highly recommend this place. Burgers are made consistently. Burgers Priest is my new religion !!! <3Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free and cross contamination knowledge“
“This bar has an amazing owner and staff that absolutely takes care of every single customer that walks in even if that customer does not provide them with respect. Food is awesome, patio is awesome, please go support them if you have the chance!“
“ordered the all beef hotdog ($5) and spicy italian sausage ($6), got us filled ???? only thing we wished was that our buns were more toasted but otherwise a decent dog for a decent price !might be the only stand i'll be going to from now on :')“
“At Kordog Korean Style Hotdog, the experience goes beyond just great flavors; they offer a delightful variety of sauces to elevate your hotdog experience. From classic choices to more adventurous options, there's something for every palate. I thoroughly enjoyed pairing my mozzarella cheese hotdog with their array of sauces, adding an extra layer of excitement to each bite. Whether you're a fan of traditional condiments or looking to spice things up with something new, Kordog has you covered. With top-notch flavors, reasonable prices, and a selection of sauces to tantalize your taste buds, this place is a definite winner in my book. Can't wait to return for another delicious adventure!Vegetarian options: Couple options only“
“I loved the different options you can get with the hotdog (topping, sauces, vegetarian/meat). Most importantly, I enjoyed the taste of the hotdog and how filling it was. Things that could be improved on was that we wished for more sauce on the hotdog and that they did not give us as much gravy as they did.Vegetarian options: Veg hotdog“
“These are best to be eaten fresh! Don't be greedy like me, get what you can eat :)I got two dogs, when really one would have been enough. They were both great and I'm glad I tried both. I had the Ramen chip and sweet potato. Experiment with the causes, I liked both my mixes. My leftovers were good to eat later by the way, the dough did not get rock hard, but you can't beat the fresh stuff! There is a bit of a line once your order, I waited for about 15 mins for the order - it is a popular place.“
“Just saw that this place is closing?! What a shame, this is the best korean hot dog place in Toronto! I don't like to name other businesses in reviews but this place is thousands of times better than Chungchun!!! I came here with my friends so many times over the years, and we're on the photo wall too ? Thank you for many years of amazing food and memories, I'll never forget you K-Seoul Hot Dog!!!!“
“No wonder their name is happy burger! This place let me tell you something?…. there burger there Cajun waffle fries and the cheese sauce and Ofc the banana pudding ?? so fresh! This place is an absolute gem ? I split the banana pudding with my wife but I just wanted it all. Thank you happy burger putting pride and love with that meal it was unreal. Definitely will be seeing you guys again.????“
“Favourite bar around!Originally went to the one in Hamilton and loved it. So when me and the girlfriend discovered there was one in Toronto we had to go!The vibes here are the best! There are friendly bartenders and staff that will take care of you, always having pitchers of water on the bar.VCR movies being projected on the back wall are a sweet touch and perfect for a “trippy” night out ??Crisp, cold drinks, good friends and a great atmosphere!Try the Willibald on tap! ??Recent renovations gave it a lot more seating room near the back which was a great touch! Please don’t ever change!“
“OMG! I stumbled upon these folks at our local fair after my go-to was not there. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I had the cheesy pickle fries…perfectly cooked and salted shoestring fries, loads of cheese sauce, chopped dill pickle, some amazing sauce (I asked, they won’t tell, lol), and topped with a crispy cheesy like crumble. I was drooling over these, and even had a friend go grab herself some after a single bite of mine. Thank you Woofdawg, spectacular!“
“Absolutely amazing!! Honestly the best sandwich shop in Toronto! I didn't know a sandwich could taste so good until I tried Grandma Loves You. The freshest and best quality ingredients. I could literally eat here everyday. And the small business owners Artin and Sarah are the nicest people you'll ever meet! So kind and generous it's heartwarming. The energy and customer service of all the staff too makes for such a joyful experience every time. And I recently placed a catering order for a large event, and everyone after their first bite was in love with Grandma Loves You! Definitely recommend!!“
“Absolutely delicious burgers!! Love this lil restaurant!!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options.Parking: Small parking lot. Might be hard to park during busy hoursKid-friendliness: Great spot to bring the kiddos.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrances and big spaces inside“
“Z, Michelle and Mariana. Triple delight, what a pain.Street food for street attitude. ??After 3 days of knocking, Mariana provided Rosbie with a belly filling hot dog ? stuffed with cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup and Doritos, I think. ??♂️??♀️Rosbie forcefully downed that sausage blow in one goal leaving his belly full of mayocum, ??.Try out the Salsa Venezuelan Street food for a dirty dish when you wanna be badder than bad.We do not count calories here so do not be frightened or judged, huh?.I had a successful double workout ?? right after, leaving my stomach and abs looking more structured and looking even better than on a healthier meal, no pun intended. Hehe.Just checkout and support my Mariana Novela. ??“
“Fantastic! The food was amazing and the French Fries had all I would want in them! The steak on a bun also tasted like steak, unlike the rubbery mess you will typically get. The fish on the bun is also quite nice, the fish was very flakey. The normal burger is also very juicy and offers everything you'd want and more!Sadly my French fries were initially forgotten but when bringing it up with the server it was quickly fixed!“
“I was checking this place out for the first time, and it was great. These are the best corn dogs that I have ever had. I had the volcano corn dog, and it tasted great. The size of it was huge. The service was top notch as well. The cashier was friendly, and it was only a 10 min wait. The prices are not bad, but I just wished that they had combos. They have one corn dog combo for $25, which comes with 4 of em. although I wished that the price was abit lower.Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here. I usually come here from time to time, if I’m ever in the area ?“
“Good lord. It's so good. It's like .. a cheese burger, the way it should be. Unpretentious, fresh, tasty. Fries are good too. Value is perfect. I've been passing this place for years, thinking .. "one day, because I know I will probably love it". I was not wrong, and I should not have waited so long. After just one burger, this is now my go-to burger-to-go place. Cash only, don't forget!“
“My sister has graciously gone to this Chungchun Rice Hotdog location multiple times to bring home their Korean hotdogs. They are ABSOLUTELY delicious and filling! My favourite is their fried Potato Korean Hotdog with Honey Mustard. It is made to order so it is piping hot. The sausage is super flavourful, the outside is crispy and the potatoes give a nice extra layer of texture and taste. One of these is a meal for me, as it is very filling! I definitely recommend getting your Korean Hotdogs from here. They have a variety of options, including Halal meat, and they are DELECTABLE!“
“My favorite in the area. The staff and service are great and the hotdogs are always hot and crispy and flavorful. I’d recommend the volcano hotdog with sweat potato topping. It’s so good. One time I ordered at like 9:30pm but still got my food on time. Will come back for sure.“
“I found the combo menu here particularly noteworthy for its convenience in providing a variety of options. While the taste wasn't outstanding, it met my expectations adequately. Surprisingly, the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) tasted better than anticipated. However, considering the price point, I believe the portions could be more generous. It would be more satisfying if the quantity matched the cost. Overall, [Hot Dog Shop] offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement in portion sizes relative to prices.*Sadly, casher forgot our drink that is included in set menu.“
