“We only had beer so I can only do review for beer for now. We went for happy hour on both days. After 8pm until closing time. The service was a little slow I find, but since we didn't order food and just wanted to chat it was okay. I was surprised didn't see too many people in the restaurant on Sunday around 8pm. They used to have fried chicken thigh or leg and not just wings, I wish they can get that back. I do suggest the Alfredo pasta with either chicken or shrimp that's what I liked to order before.“
“My husband and I went there on Thursday night to grab a quick dinner. The restaurant was packed. The waitress was nice enough to clear up the bar area to fit us in. There were only 2 chefs working but they were very efficient with the order. Our vegan Udon was amazing. The broth was rich and thick and came out steamy hot. I will definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Vegan brothDietary restrictions: Vegan option availableParking: You can park right in front of restaurant“
“2nd time back at this location and Parsa and welcomed us again for the second time with open arms even if we weren’t his table again he made sure both times we were okay and we have everything we needed to have a great experience at milestone Richmond hill location :) thank you for your service ! Next time we come hopefully Parsa is our server so we can tip him!“
“Rami our waiter was outstanding. He shred his beautiful baby boy with us and was also a super knowledgeable waiter with opinions and advice on many items in the menu. Thank you Rami for helping my friend and I to have an outstanding dinner.“
“1st time here, the bar tender/server was funny & personable. we came early for something to eat before our paintnight. Spacious & comfortable. Sectioned area for a decent sized party (easily fit a wedding party with family). would visit again.“
“We had the absolute pleasure of having Adrak Richmond Hill cater our wedding in August 2022, and we simply can't praise them enough, especially our liaison, Zara. From the get-go, Zara was a beacon of professionalism and support. Despite the numerous revisions, customizations, and extensive back and forth communication, Zara remained courteous, patient, and incredibly flexible, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the event, the food was delivered right on time, and Zara even made a special visit to the venue to ensure that everything went off without a hitch. Her dedication to overseeing the logistics was truly above and beyond. Zara had earlier organized a tasting menu for us, which was a delightful experience and she coordinated the delivery of items with impeccable attention to detail. Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of incredible! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors and the quality. The quantity was generous enough to feed a village, and everyone left with satisfied palates and happy hearts. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Zara and the entire Team Adrak for their outstanding performance and support on our special day. Their contribution made a significant impact, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Unfortunately, we did not take too many photos of the food laid out but the photos couldn't even do justice. We highly recommend Adrak Richmond Hill for anyone in need of catering services that are both delicious and impeccably managed.“
“Literally my go to spot to have some Korean pocha food! There are rosé rice cakes are my absolute favorite! Perfect for sharing, and such a fun atmosphere to hang out with friends! You have to try their boneless Korean fried chicken as well! Crispyyy ! Follow @tiff.eatz on IG for more reviews ?“
“Great seafood restaurant for a dinner for 4 friends. Appetizers (oysters and Brussels sprouts), mains (Icelandic cod, seafood paella, and 2 Tagliatelle), and desserts (2 Banoffee Mess) were all excellent. We will definitely eat there again and will recommend it to others.“
“Our server Shanny was absolutely amazing! She recommended the balsamic mozzarella and if was so delicious . We also had the carbonara and loved it!! Shanny was amazing, super helpful, kind, and quick! Thanks Shanny for a great birthday dinner!!! Highly recommended this location.“
“Came here for dinner for 6 people. Although the tables are a little small and services are lacking, the food is truly amazing! I'll list the food with ranking from best to good.Spicy stir fried gold coin egg with perilla has a thick and savoury sauce. Hardboiled eggs are cut into coins and deep fried, then tossed in a mince pork, black bean paste and chilli sauce. Perilla and carrots added the sweetness that brings the whole dish together. This is an unbelievable way to eat eggs. Must try!Stir fried pork slices with green pepper is a classic chinese dish that has many variations. I can't comment on the authenticity, but I certainly found it incredibly well made. The pork slices are cooked to the right texture and green chillies are fresh. The sauce collected the smoky flavour from the hot wok as it was fried. Incredible dish to eat with rice.Hunan boiled fish fillet in hot chilli oil used freshly sliced black fish instead of frozen basa as seen in most restaurants. This makes the fish neither flakey nor watery, but tender and oozing with flavour instead. The chilli oil fully bloomed the numbing peppercorn and dried red chillies that excites your pallette as the fish lands on your tongue. Konjak jelly noodles and cucumbers are great choices to add to the dish, providing differences in texture. There are spicy chicken offal dishes and skewers that I really wanted to try next. When I'm in the area again, I'll come back for more.“
“Fabulous experience!!We booked a bday party here and the place was PERFECT!! we had about 40 people give or take on a Saturday night coming in and out and the music along with the vibes were fantastic. The service was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful evening!Highly recommend booking your event here- Gordon, was amazing at setting up and answering any questions we had. Booking was smooth and they worked with us to have the best layout.Food was lovely, drinks were boozy and the night was amazing.Thank you team for making it a perfect night! ??“
“What an incredible place. If you've been to Unionville, you'll know that the area has many cute and aesthetic restaurants/cafe's but this one is truly a gem. The restaurant has a very cozy but fancy vibe, dimly lit but there's still enough light to see all of the amazing food served here. The staff were super friendly, greeting every customer, both coming in and leaving. The food was definitely super good and worth the price (which, on that note, wasn't too expensive). We ordered skewers, scallops and a beef noodle soup. The skewers were kind of dry on their own, a dipping sauce definitely would have improved them a lot, and the scallops were very fresh, but I'm not a huge scallop fan so I didn't get to enjoy it fully (but my boyfriend said the texture was really good and chewy, and the seasoning really enhanced the flavour). The beef noodle soup was really flavourful and the beef itself wasn't too tough to chew. Honestly I will be going back soon, there are still so many things I want to try and I truly enjoyed the ambience.“
“Came for a late dinner around 8pm on a Saturday night and we were the only people there. Ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork, beef and spring rolls. The portions are big and the meat was cooked well and quite flavourful, but I found the rest of the dish a bit bland including the nuoc cham sauce. Service was friendly but not particularly attentive, despite being the only ones in the restaurant we had to flag them down for water refills.10% off if you pay with cash!“
“Standard KEG quality. I recommend Tomahawk Stake or bone in Rib. Superb. But I wanted to point out service at this particular establishment. We were there on Friday and our server was Jimmy. I cannot give him enough praise. Very pleasant and courteous. Fast. And knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. Like I said earlier standard Keg fare but Jimmy really made our evening enjoyable. Thank you again.“
“In comparing genres of restaurants, a suitable comparison of this restaurant is something like the Pickle Barrel or to an extent The Keg. Prices are much more reasonable than the Keg and the food quality is on par with the Keg. Prices are competitive and slightly better than Pickle Barrel, and quality is far better than Pickle Barrel. Food serving sizes were proper and appropriate, bordering on plentiful - a nice change from the effects of shrinkflation. Restaurant was clean and organized. Many patrons enjoyed wine with dinner, suggesting affordable drinks.Staff was very responsive, attentive, and able to make appropriate dining recommendations. The butter chicken bowl was better than butter chicken at most Indian restaurants (where they skimp like crazy on chicken and just offer runny gravy out of a grocery store jar). The butter chicken was strong in flavour and well-made - appropriate for serving to Indian customers. They use real bacon in other dishes, and not the cheap imitation garbage you receive at other restaurants. Dish preparation was fresh, served hot, and all dishes made it to our table nearly simultaneously. Good staff teamwork - we were served by the manager but two other waitresses helped deliver our dishes so that all dishes arrived at our table nearly simultaneously. The restaurant has a beautiful bar set-up appropriate to meet and entertain people for just drinks. Temperature of dining area was appropriately maintained and comfortable. Recommended for affordable and quality dining.“
“Shimeko cooper was an amazing service very cute and so attentive and went over and beyond the call of duty me and my family came from out of time and had difficult time and he was so sweet by encouraging us as he was not so busy we would like to thank him so much for his “
“Located nearby the Cineplex Theatre in Vaughan.Reservations yes ? 2x adults and 1 childDined during HAPPY HOUR (lounge/patio only) before we attended a cooking class in the area.Service 4 ⭐️Promptly greeted at the door and was acknowledged that even though I reserved the lounge, children weren’t permitted to stay within an offered the patio which is covered and heated. We did not mind this adjustment. Wait staff was attentive.Food 4 ⭐️The food came out all at once rather than phases so the items that were to be served hot like the corn and baos ended up being room temp.✅ Chili shrimp ? As this was served on a hot plate drenched in butter and seasoning served alongside a bun of bread this is a great appetizer.✅ Ahi tuna tataki -an absolute must order as this was my favourite appetizer from the kitchen. Well seasoned, chilled perfectly and balanced. It comes sprinkled with Etta Nami and that togarashi mayo and lime vinaigrette helps keep the appetizer exciting.✅ steak bites they were cooked to perfection medium rare and I ordered two of these as my eight-year-old daughter did not wanna share.Mexican corn ribs- these were flavoured nicely. Highly recommend this for anyone who has gone vegetarian as these are a great substitute or vegetarian option for those who are accustomed to having pork ribs. Just wish the corn was more juicy as the kernels were dried out. A fresh boil would perfect this as I thought this may have been microwaved??Bao buns- filled with beef the buns were room temp when it arrive to the table. Unsure if buns was freshly steamed to order or reheated through microwave which causes the buns to be chewy when cold. Flavours were ideal and salad that accompanying it worked well.Drink 4.5 ⭐️Ordered the Moscow mule which I appreciated they used Fever Tree Ginger Beer.Overall My family dined happily here. ? especially at happy hour pricing. We will return to have dinner as we were pleased with the steak bites and Chicago seasoning. It showed a prelude to what a full size steak under the super hot oven of 1800°F could be enjoyed…plus they have a child’s menu.Vegetarian options: Mexican corn street ribs is a must for those who are vegetarian see menu for other options.Parking: This is located in a freestanding building but in a plaza area very close to the movie theatre other restaurants and shopping outlets. Tons of free parking available.Kid-friendliness: There is a children’s menu and food options include pasta burger and fries chicken fingers and fries salmon and steakWheelchair accessibility: Yes ?“
“Food was excellent, the dishes paired perfectly with the drinks that were on menu. You can tell that the chef has specially curated each item and didn’t necessarily choose things out of popularity. For example, the sparkling jasmine tea was fantastic.. I later tried to find this drink but was quite disappointed that it’s a very difficult item to get!One item was very interesting - the futomaki was not like any other I have had before. In fact, I don’t personally enjoy it much but really did when the chef made his version of it.We had tried the premium lunch omakase. We would love to come back. Staff were attentive and nice. It’s quite a relatively large restaurant for such a small seating.. the ones downtown a much smaller - but you also get to see everything (a lot of their fridges were in the preparation area).“
“Really good korean chicken spot!Their 2 flavour chicken meal was definitely enough for 2 people, we barely finished!Got the garlic soy and spicy flavours10/10 especially the garlic soyTheir drinks were also great, I really enjoyed the milkis cocktail ?“
“I recently had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting, the service impeccable, and the food was simply exquisite. Every dish showcased a perfect blend of flavors, and the presentation was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the overall dining experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a culinary treat in a welcoming environment.“
“My wife Lorrie and I dropped in to Kelsey’s for dinner tonight and a great meal as always Excellent burgers with a great selection of assorted food on the menu with drink specials It was great to see Ricky again still behind the bar with all his charm and smiles as he greets you at your table It’s was also nice to see the manager walking around the restaurant talking to everyone throughout the night Let’s not forget the great selection of desserts Thanks Guys Paul Sands Unionville“
“I've had lunch at this place a couple of times. Very good food and drink at reasonable prices. I had the caesar salad and cajun chicken sandwich with a large beer. Delicious, and served fast and hot. The decor is sporty, modern and fun.If you're looking for a good diner in Maple, this is the place.“
“Perfect spot for a late night date adventure! That being said, it's a bit on the pricier side, considering the portions/options available, so keep that in mind.Atmosphere is amazing, very cozy and the lighting is more on the dimmer side, so it's very aesthetic altogether. The food itself was ok, I wasn't a huge fan of the fried chicken nor the potato pancake, as they were both super oily. The cheese+pork dish was nice though, bit on the spicier side but that ended up working in it's favour. They have some really nice drinks though! Very cute and tasty, though the soju is a lot more expensive than other places.“
“Amazing atmosphere, its an “everyone knows everyone” kind of vibe each night and the staff is nothing short of the kindest and friendliest individuals you’ll come across in nightlife, they also hosted multiple parties for friends and i which have been incredible.“
“Check this place out! You’ll be happy you did.Having grown up in Aurora and recently moved back, the rebrand and new ownership of this restaurant has enhanced the town further.Great atmosphere, amazing value for the food especially given recent increases on all costs since Covid, and awesome service. The owner, Robert, checked on us even though our server was absolutely exceptional (this visit as well as our last a few weeks ago).Great place for kids as well - it’s our 7 year old’s favourite place to dine out in Aurora (and ours too!)We will be back and are looking forward to it.“
“You walk in and there’s a white piano, so you know it’s going to be a good vibe. The owner is very kind, with some very nice conversations and good recommendations for places to dance in the city. The food: best empanadas I’ve had in the city, the ceviche is also amazing, the pupusas too!I heard that’s there’s open karaoke and dance Saturday nights starting around 9pm, so I’ll have to stop by again!“
“We arrived on time for 12:15pm res and still had to wait about like 10-15 min outside on the deck (gorgeous view btw, with the water mill and pond). But it was funny to see them turning ppl away constantly if they were just coming as walk-ins.The hostess seated us and a server came over to let us know the daily food and drink specials. The brunch tower seemed very intriguing to me but it sounded like A LOT of food and my girlfriend (even though hangry at that point) knew she wasn't gonna be able to help me tackle even half the tower haha. So we settled on duck confit pancakes and huevos rancheros.Ok, so the food comes out and I'm pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes. The plates were quite hefty and you get a good amount of food (which I appreciate cuz I've got a big appetite). The presentation looked fantastic. Looked like michelin star plating. The duck had crispy skin, succulent meat (they actually give you a whole duck leg whereas I've been to restos that literally give you the drumstick and that's it). The pancakes were moist and fluffy. The rancheros were packed with goodies. I liked the fact that they actually cooked the tater tots well (crispy on the outside and tender on the inside). A lot of places screw up the potatoes. It also comes with a lot of egg and pulled pork which we really appreciated. To top it all off, we had some fresh mango peach juice to wash it all down. Yum!It's cracking up into expensive territory for brunch for sure (but I've seen way more egregious pricing downtown). I still rate it a 5 star experience. Great food, great presentation, great service and still borderline ok on the prices. Probably the best brunch spot in the markham area if you ask me. It tops Alchemy Coffee brunch for me (which is literally in the same neighbourhood).I know they host weddings and special events too and I'm kinda curious. I might inquire about it sometime.“
“Love this place since I first time visiting! The food never disappoints me but 4star for the uber eat menu doesn't have all the item there, hopefully they put the missing item there then I will put this to 5 star! I personally recommend theirs udon and the poke belly ! And I love the side dish and salad too !“
“Love the food here. Service is great too. Wish there was a Nome is Markham. I also want to shout out to chris for being a great help. 5 stars because of her superior service and positive attitude. Thank you for taking our last minute call orders on Monday night. See you soon :)“
“5 stars because the food made up for it all. The food was so excellent! We had the peppercorn new york sirloin steak with whisky sauce (???honestly the best steak I've ever had) and the chicken, there's only 1 on the menu + kids sirloin meal. The watermelon cosmo was also a great choice if u like the fruity flavour. Last but not least is the large slice of ice-cream cheesecake that was served free as per birthdays. Kudos to the Keg!Parking: We ended up parking across the street by Chipotle & walked across. Paid like $10 for 2 hours.“
“The onion fries were pretty decent and usually I don't like Korean onion powder because it's too sweet at other places. The food was decent! I could really taste the local Korean style of food. The decor is very local pocha, just like Korea with the plastic tables and chairs when they set up shop outdoors!“
“The food was great. I got a medium rare steak, it was very tender and juicy, and their waffle fry poutine is so savoury and filling. We had Jasmine as our server and she was so sweet! Very accommodating and had such a kind vibe to her. The inside is very cozy and the prices are excellent as well :)“
“Stopped in for lunch at Georgy porgy's. Let me tell you this place never disappoints. We had the French onion soup and the chicken pasta. Also a huge order of bruschetta to share. The French onion is classic and the bruschetta is wonderful with fresh tomato and onions. My son loved the chicken pasta as well. The service was great as usual.“
“Went here to celebrate an occasion with some girl friends ..!! Good ambience .. good customer service ..!! Food Service was a bit slow even though we went on a snow storm day and there were only 3-4 tables filled .. but we were okay with that … the pizza was hopeless ..!! But all other starters were great .. chicken wings, calamari fry, tacos.. they had nice mocktails and cocktails ..!!“
“Went with family. Had lobster dinner. It was overcooked, but hey, it's still a lobster tail! Mushroom rice was just too dry, but that could be easily fixed with some melted butter they served for the lobster. Service was OK. Just your regular keg experience.“
“Clubhouse sandwich and the salmon and the Ceasar Salad was excellent. Food tends to be spicy but lots of flavor. Very nice staff but found it was slow service.Parking: You have to enter the restaurant from the back where the parking lot is.“
“Your food is the best, and very delicious, nobody make the liver like you,.the cream chap and beef tikka are perfect.. Actually all your food are so good, you are so friendly and you know what you are doing.. Just one point,. Why does your name not with the Uber eat?“
“Read great reviews about this place so had to come check it out. The vibes here are so chill and relaxing, and exactly what I need for a laid-back weekend. They've got a great selection of video games to choose from and I seriously wish I could stay longer to play. Special shoutout to Mike for being an amazing host and going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I’ll definitely go back again.“
“If you're looking for a cure for a bad day, it's a night at han ba tang. Everybody is amazing, fun, and they let me take photos like that. If you read this and end up coming, show this review to Tony or Gin, they're the bartenders (Tony in the photo). They probably won't give you a discount, but you never know ;)“
“We visited for lunch. There was just one waitress. She well received by the requirements we want, and extremly friendly. We ordered half-and-half chicken, and it was so much that two people couldn't eat it all. I understood why the price is high. We're going to visit again next time!“
“Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Had a karaoke session for a couple hours and decided to get something to eat and also wanted to get some alcohol, If anyone read my Mokutan review, this place was the one that my friend entered mistakenly. So this time, I decided it was time to actually give this place a try. The place had little individual booths which made it much more relaxing to chat and eat. I personally am not a fan of cramped spaces where I have to sit and eye what the next table is eating or listen to their conversations so this place was perfect. I had a gin tonic, while my friends had a suntory highball and beer. We didn't expect the food to have such a big portion! Living in Japan I've kind of expected smaller portions for cheaper prices, and then growing up in Toronto, I've learned that though small portions remain the same, the prices can jump up to catch you off-guard. This place had really good portions that were fair for what they charged. I think the egg omelette was good, the pork they used inside was a bit on the fatty side but mixed with the bean sprouts, was quite good. The only thing was it lacked a little flavour, which wasn't a huge deal because the other dishes made up for it. I don't eat intestines so I had the vegetables and glass noodles. The dish itself was nice and flavourful and from what I could tell they don't skimp on the ingredients. There were definitely a lot of intestines in the dish and my friends were very happy. The chicken and cheese we actually ended up ordering two because it was just so good! The cheese pull was unreal, I pulled so high that I hit my hand on the lamp above us at the table. It was definitely the most flavoured dish of the three and the chicken was so tender. They also gave us a side of peppered radish. I have to say that these definitely had a kick to them but they were quite good that we asked for more three times. Overall, a really good place to enjoy some food with friends and also a couple of drinks to help unwind your day or week.“
“update: I just got a call from what I'm assuming is the manger and got my ordeal worked out. This has helped me relize they do care about their customers and want you to have the best time. I would 110% recommend this place as not only is the food amazing so is the management.I ordered off of Uber eats, they forgot 3/4 of my order and the part I did get was incorrect called to inform them of this and the gentleman on the phone got combative with me and told me if I wanted the rest of my order I would need to find a way to get it.“
“We started going to this restaurant since covid-19. Honestly there were a lot of choices in Markham, and Ikon was not the only sushi restaurant we ordered our food. But things have changed because we can hardly find better restaurant in Markham. There are restaurants that focus on lots of menu choices, some name their food with unheard titles, and some raise their prices to make you feel theirs are imaginative "premium". But Ikon comes in simple packages. They give you the max quality of food in simple menu and shockingly reasonable price. The chefs and the owner (tall woman) always dress in clean and simple outfits, and then greet you with a warming tone as if you were a good friend. As a bonus, take-out orders come with a Japanese soft clothes to carry your food. The whole package is simple and beautiful. Thr portion is bigger than many places. Sadly not many restaurants are like this. Disclaimer: I don't own any restaurant. I do not know any of the staff members and the owners. Japanese food is our family's preferred cuisine.“
“I've known Barry & Angie for over 11 years and they are extremely kind and welcoming! They have created a wonderful atmosphere to have a drink, eat some of the best wings and have friendly conversation with new and old friends! Highly recommend :)“
“I was pleasantly surprised. Just wanted a quick burger and poutine for lunch and didn’t really care where to order from on Uber eats, loved the name of the place and decided to give it a try. Prices are almost like fast food places but quality is much much better. Portion was bigger than I thought it would be considering the price. Will definitely order again and probably stop by for a drink and a snack.“
“Love this place! I’ve been a few times and it’s always super fun. Everyone is so kind and welcoming it’s the perfect spot to hangout in Markham. The service is always phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. Bring a deck of cards or a board game and just “
“I loved this place as a friendly neighbourhood restaurant, but since Covid it is hopeless. the open hours are nothing close to posed, and ot is under new management so I have no idea of the food quality, or if it is. ever open. feel bad for the staff, they were trying hard despite the hours, which you couldn't rel6 on, and web says "open now" when it isn't.I give up, because I have to travel by cab.“
“Good food, great service and atmosphere.A bit on the expensive side. The biggest problem is volume... Bands are very loud and the DJ (on Fridays) just loses it completely and seems to raise the volume every ~10m, more and more until we couldn't take it anymore and left, although we enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. We would have stayed and danced for much longer if not for that.“
“I went to Daldongnae (Empress) for my birthday with 13 friends, and it was great! I called them to reserve the tables 3 days in advance. I even arrived a little earlier than the reservation, and they seated us no problem. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend this location! Thank you, Daldongnae Empress staff. You made my birthday memorable. ❤️“
“Great location, awesome staff, wonderful experienceThe place is cozy and inviting, with a large selection of board games, video games, and drinks. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they explained the rules of the games we wanted to try. We played some classics like Clue and Jenga, as well as some new ones like Exploding Kittens and Codenames. The games were in good condition and easy to find.If you are interested in hidden role team games like Mafia, Royal Game runs different exciting scenarios every night. It's my favorite team game. The cafe also offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, as well as alcohol. I ordered a latte and it was delicious. They also have some snacks and desserts and salads. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast.We had a lot of fun and laughter at Royal Game Cafe & Lounge, and we will definitely come back. It’s a great place to hang out with friends, meet new people, and enjoy some games. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and friendly game cafe?“
