“We started going to this restaurant since covid-19. Honestly there were a lot of choices in Markham, and Ikon was not the only sushi restaurant we ordered our food. But things have changed because we can hardly find better restaurant in Markham. There are restaurants that focus on lots of menu choices, some name their food with unheard titles, and some raise their prices to make you feel theirs are imaginative "premium". But Ikon comes in simple packages. They give you the max quality of food in simple menu and shockingly reasonable price. The chefs and the owner (tall woman) always dress in clean and simple outfits, and then greet you with a warming tone as if you were a good friend. As a bonus, take-out orders come with a Japanese soft clothes to carry your food. The whole package is simple and beautiful. Thr portion is bigger than many places. Sadly not many restaurants are like this. Disclaimer: I don't own any restaurant. I do not know any of the staff members and the owners. Japanese food is our family's preferred cuisine.“

“Food is good, got the beet salad, mushroom chicken, and chili chicken, all were good. Service from Ryan really great, especially considering how busy it was. For some reason the wood tables have a weird sticky coating which was so annoying.“

“Loved the atmosphere and overall vibe at Unplug including service. I ordered chicken lollipop as an appetizer, along with a drink, fries, chapati, and Mughlai chicken for the main course. Everything was nice and well-presented. However, I personally felt that the Mughlai chicken was very creamy and slightly lacking in flavour. I’m not sure if that’s the intended taste, but it didn’t feel very authentic to me.
A small suggestion: when serving authentic Indian dishes, it might help to ask guests what kind of flavour profile they prefer. Some customer might be expecting a more traditional, spiced Indian-style curry rather than a milder, creamier version and don’t know which one they should order.
Just sharing this as feedback. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and the place has a great ambiance.“

“Had a fantastic experience at Scaddabush! The food was great — generous portions and full of flavor, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal out.
What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Ji Won, was amazing — attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference and turned a good meal into a great experience.
Will definitely be back, and hope to get Ji Won’s section again!“

“Chat Bar has such a cool vibe for a late-night hangout! The energy is lively, fun, and perfect for catching up with friends over drinks and snacks. “Great location and the food was made and cooked perfectly. As always got the four cheese spinach dip and hubby and me decided on burgers. Both were cooked and plated to perfection. Fries are a nice thick cut fry and cooked decently, but I would ask for well done next time as I prefer my fries a bit more crispy. Our server could of replenished our drinks before we finished eating, but it wasnt the end of the world. Just decided to not buy an additional round of drinks as we were pretty much done eating. As a customer thats okay, as a business owner they missed out on the upsale of a second round.“

“My friends and I have now been going to Gabby's for quite a few times, maybe about 6 by now, usually on Sundays. The last couple of times have been on a Friday and Monday. We are mostly handicapped, using walkers or a wheelchair. I usually make the reservation, and specify a table near the lovely large windows. It has never been a problem on Sundays, but there seems to be one waitress who objects to our sitting near the window as we will "block" the servers. It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays. We love this restaurant and the food and atmosphere is so great, usually. Most disappointing.“

“We recently signed up for the meal delivery program and cannot say enough good things! The food is really tasty. We eat a lot of Indian and Mexican food so we were concerned that the food might not be as flavourful as we are used to eating, but it far exceeded my expectations! The website is very easy to use from my phone. The salads are great because they allow me to eat raw veggies that I might not otherwise prepare for myself. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my digestion. The containers the food is in are durable and reusable/recyclable. The delivery is always on time. Once there was a very small mixup and I was immediately sent an additional complimentary entree delivered to my door. What a wonderful company, that I wish I had discovered sooner!“

“We had a emo themed birthday celebration on the weekend and we picked the evening slot (8pm-3am). My friends and I had a great time singing, dancing and snacking. The staff was very accomodating, friendly and helpful. They also gave us a nice treat from the house which was a very sweet touch :). We had a lot of fun memories. Highly recommended for friend-get-together. We will defenitely comback to try some of their other snacks as it was sold out.“

“First time there place was very nice the food was amazing I definitely would recommend, only issue is the service. It was very disorganized not even sure who our server was, the guy who took our order never came back and looked down walking past us. Some of them were cool, but in total pretty bad. One thing for the double salmon Maki roll get thinner asparagus last two rolls was basically large asparagus stems in a roll. Still good just a recommendation“

“We went to the bar yesterday and loved how clean it was—no weird smells at all! The staff were super friendly. When we first walked in, the music was pretty loud, but they quickly turned it down for us, which was nice. They have karaoke too, and the sound system is awesome. The chicken wings were really tasty! I’ll definitely be back next time. Overall, it was a great experience!“

“This bar is great. A friend of mine works here and she is super cool.....its a good place to go later on at night as it always gets busier then. They also have karaoke and a DJ during the week. The beer and liquor prices are affordable as well.“
“On the first glance it looked kinda sketchy. The bar itself was not busy at all. There was mostly staff on a Friday night (not too late either) This bar isn’t bad. Food & drink are pretty good price. I ordered a couple of dishes and few drinks even after dinner. I felt sad & bad for the business.

“First time visiting here. Love the taste of caffe latte and grilled panini at a reasonable price. Picture was only taken after I ate the half of panini already. Looks like they have a good selection of desserts as well as a set menu of panini, small coffee and small salad, which I will try next time.“

“I love to come here every Sunday afternoon if I can, after 3 p.m. I start with a tall glass of cold ginger ale on the rocks, followed by a lovely bowl of French onion soup. My so-called main meal depends on the mood I'm in. It's all good. The staff are very kind and friendly. Very relaxing atmosphere. They even have a big fireplace in the middle of the restaurant, for those cold days in winter. I can hardly wait!
Parking: The reason I come here on Sunday is because there is lots of parking. It's usually full on the weekdays because of the DOT main Ministry building where you get tested we're driving a car to get your driver's license. Always busy“

“We had the absolute pleasure of having Adrak Richmond Hill cater our wedding in August 2022, and we simply can't praise them enough, especially our liaison, Zara. From the get-go, Zara was a beacon of professionalism and support. Despite the numerous revisions, customizations, and extensive back and forth communication, Zara remained courteous, patient, and incredibly flexible, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the event, the food was delivered right on time, and Zara even made a special visit to the venue to ensure that everything went off without a hitch. Her dedication to overseeing the logistics was truly above and beyond. Zara had earlier organized a tasting menu for us, which was a delightful experience and she coordinated the delivery of items with impeccable attention to detail. Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of incredible! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors and the quality. The quantity was generous enough to feed a village, and everyone left with satisfied palates and happy hearts. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Zara and the entire Team Adrak for their outstanding performance and support on our special day. Their contribution made a significant impact, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Unfortunately, we did not take too many photos of the food laid out but the photos couldn't even do justice. We highly recommend Adrak Richmond Hill for anyone in need of catering services that are both delicious and impeccably managed.“

“Just stopped by with my husband to check out the place on a Friday night as I’ve never been here before. Was stopped at the door by security. I asked politely if I could have a peek inside before paying the $15 entry fee for each of us and was told “NO, we don’t do that”. WTF??? You don’t do what??? I can’t see what I’m paying for? Disgusting. I would not recommend this place. I felt discriminated against and That they didn’t want my business. My husband often orders food from here. They have lost his business. Trash.“

“It’s more of a mix of a Korean and Japanese izakaya. It’s Korean-owned, so I wouldn’t say the food is fully authentic Japanese, but everything I’ve tried has always tasted great. I also love their beer and umeshu.
The service was just okay - nothing special. The location is a bit difficult to get to without a car. Overall, I really enjoyed all the food I tried and would definitely come back, although it’s still a bit pricey.“
