“Made a random stop at this restaurant with a few of my friends and the food was bomb! If you are looking for some extremely flavourful and spicy Indian cuisine this is your spot. It is pretty hard to find food like this downtown. My friends and I tried out the butter chicken, garlic naan, butter chicken nachos, tandoori chicken momos and the gunpowder chicken. All of them were absolutely fireeeee! But my go to is 1000% the gunpowder chicken it was out the roof and I am still craving it. I had to take some on the go because of how amazing it was. Definitely must check it out if you are downtown! Service and vibes were amazing!“
“Stopped in to Smash Kitchen & Bar on the way home from a job. I felt like something lighter. My colleague liked the look of the plant burger, while I was considering the chicken Cobb salad. He convinced me to try the burger.What a good choice. It was juicy and tasty. The fries were seasoned and crispy.I had the Pecan Bread Puddin' for dessert. Lovely bread pudding with creme anglaise and ice cream. It was a large serving, so be warned. Worth the $11 price.Service was friendly and accommodating.I would definitely go back if I'm in the Whitby area.5 stars all around.Vegetarian options: Plant burger was great. Nice texture. Juicy. “Love this place. Great beer selection, great arcade selection and great staff. They're always buying and selling cabs so it's nice to have the selection change. I was so happy to see they got an NBA Jam tournament edition cab!!! Haven't tried any of the food or coffee yet.“
“Met here for a business meeting. It was quiet for a Monday at lunch which was great for us. Our server Rose was very kind and attentive. I had the fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was out of this world, I loved the pickle and there sauce. I would come back next time I'm back in the area. Well worth the trip .“

The beer on tap was on point and we got started with their Sunday wings and fries special.We had to try their spinach dip with tortillas and it was great! super delicious, I almost licked the bowl clean. You have an option of the dip with tortillas, pita chips or both.The ambience was great, plenty of places to sit without feeling overcrowded. plenty of parking and access to public transit (DRT and GoBus stops are a short walk away).we spent about $13 each on the food and $7 for every pint (or whatever it was) on beer. Worth it.Vegetarian options: Some decent veggie options. If you’re here to get a snack or something to nibble with your drink, it’s decent. If you want something hearty like lunch or dinner, I’m not sure.Parking: They share the plaza with a couple of other restaurants. Plenty of parking but it could get full if there are a lot of customers.“
“Went for lunch on a Sunday with a party of 12. I made reservations the day before. No problem accommodating our party size. Food is fresh and tasty. All the plates came out at the same time. Great experience. Note, pricing is in line with others and They are always willing to cater to unique dietary needs. Love the steak sandwich and the Thai curry bowl. Highly recommend.“

Only thing that would have made the food better would be fresh cut fries with the fish and chips. The shepherds pie and gravy side was awesome.“

“Was recently at a hockey tournament in the area and the team wanted a lunch. We had made a reservation and were there mid afternoon during a slow time. We had 1 dedicated server who was friendly, helpful and very patient with all the kids in tow. Convenient spot with lots of parking, full menu to suit all tastes, a kids menu to help the kids choose.“
