In July 2022, I had the pleasure of attending 8-Bit Beans for my grandson's birthday celebration (at the Whitby location). He chose the venue, and it was such a great choice. I even played some retro arcade games, even though I usually consider myself "too old" for that stuff. The overall vibe is why I played the games. I felt like a kid again for just a little while. 8-Bit Beans is a fun spot with delicious food, a great selection of beer, and arcade games. It's perfect for parties, offering a welcoming environment. The staff provides exceptional customer service, making everyone feel included. With a variety of games and a changing selection of arcade cabinets, it's a place to visit again and again. The restaurant is a favorite among local families, with many nostalgic games and rotating pinball machines to keep things fresh. The coffee is fantastic, providing a bonus for keeping the grown-ups caffeinated. 8-Bit Beans is an amazing spot for a fun hangout or private party, with reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. The snack bar has a menu with a little bit of everything. They specialize in coffee also. The retro games will sometimes snag a coin or two but the staff is extremely helpful to replace them no charge. This place is worth the drive. My son recommends the Sonic Dog for a snack. My daughter says grab a box of popcorn. Do try the coffee. Comfy, cute, Lil fun spot that's a nice little hidden gem to hang with friends. They have mocktails, cocktails, and lots of coffee. The specialty drinks are fun! The menu is surprisingly broad based on it being essentially an arcade.
