STARMIA , great personality, great conversation, definitely worth every penny. The atmosphere is top tier. But there are some down sides, the pricing is outrages, the music is very old and out dated. The dj gives me creep vibes and I had another beautiful lady I use to visit frequently and she left there because of how strict they are and how poorly she was treated and the dj made her uncomfortable unfortunately.“

“Everthing I have tried so far has been very good. I have only gotten delivery but have gotten nice messages written on the bags. For example I ordered on Thanksgiving day they wrote Happy Thanksgiving. Thank Amigo's 😊“

“In July 2022, I had the pleasure of attending 8-Bit Beans for my grandson's birthday celebration (at the Whitby location). He chose the venue, and it was such a great choice. I even played some retro arcade games, even though I usually consider myself "too old" for that stuff. The overall vibe is why I played the games. I felt like a kid again for just a little while. Tasty (but simple) adult and kid friendly food that was served in a timely manner, and with a smile. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was top notch. I look forward to returning in the future.“
“This bar is great. A friend of mine works here and she is super cool.....its a good place to go later on at night as it always gets busier then. They also have karaoke and a DJ during the week. The beer and liquor prices are affordable as well.“

“We were in on Monday for some apps and a drink. Ordered the Jalapeno Mac & Cheese, Bacon & Tomato Soup, and the Tuna Sushi. Food was fresh and tasty. We were served by Taylor, she did a great job looking after us and had great energy. Good line up of beers on draught, had a Detour on tap which is always a treat.“

“Had dinner at State & Main in Pickering last night with my wife and six good friends a party of eight, all arriving around 7:30.
From the moment we walked in, it looked and felt like home. There's a warm, welcoming feeling the second you step through the door, and the place has a clean, modern look without being too loud, so we could actually hear each other talk all night. Our waitress was amazing from start to finish.
She took all eight of our orders and got every single one right the first time no mix-ups, no repeats. She was really on her game, checking in at just the right moments without hovering, and you could tell she genuinely cared that we were having a good time. The food was amazing too. Everything came out hot, well-presented, and full of flavour. With a big group like ours the timing could have been tricky, but the kitchen kept everything moving smoothly and nobody was left waiting.
By the end of the night, nobody wanted to leave always a good sign. If you're looking for a spot for a night out with friends in Pickering, State & Main is the place. We'll definitely be back.“
