“The Portuguese chicken was absolutely delicious—juicy on the inside, perfectly grilled on the outside, and packed with flavor. The spices were well balanced, and the peri-peri sauce gave it a nice kick without overpowering the taste. Definitely something I’d order again.“

“I go here occasionally because I live nearby. Had the grilled salmon for the first time earlier! One of the best pieces of salmon I’ve ever had. So tasty and cooked to perfection! Service is always very friendly and top notch here as well.“

“This place is amazing. The owner, Linda was so warm and inviting she made us feel like we were being welcomed into her home. The food also tasted like a real home cooked meal. “Uptown Churrasqueira is a nice place to eat. They serve yummy chicken and fresh veggies. The chicken was a little cold, and they could have used more sauce (I asked for extra sauce), but it was still cooked well. The veggies were really fresh and tasty. There isn’t a lot of seating, so be prepared to take it on the go!I think it's a good spot to grab a bite, so I would give it five stars. You might want to try it if you're in the mood for some tasty chicken and veggies.I will add though, the area is hard to get in and out of due to the Finch traffic, but if you’re willing to brave it, then you’ve got a good chance at enjoying this place the same way that I did.“

“I have visited the restaurant several times, and I can confirm the food is delicious, always well served, good portions (I have attached pictures, keep in mind some are half doses of the requested food). The customer service is excellent, super friendly and very professional.
I will be coming back, my go to restaurant.

“Ordered the double leg plate to share and it was very tasty!! The meat was tender and the skin was crispy! My friends ordered the 10 wing plate to share and the serving was hugeee, they even had leftovers after. The sauces were flavorful and the extra hot was not too spicy“

Its mostly older Portuguese people here, and it really is a place stuck in a time capsule. Great for watching soccer games.“

“One of my family members said this is the best place for Portuguese food in Toronto. We were hungry so we thought we would give it a try. We phoned through our order and went and collected it and once it was home we tucked in. The food was EXCELLENT! There was plenty to go round and for us all. Highly Recommended!“

“I've tried quite a few different Churrasqueiras recently and I have to say that the chicken from here is amazing. It beats out most places. I ordered the chicken, sausage and the tart. The tart was mind blowing and beat out every other Portuguese place. But the sausage did let me down. I've been looking for a good competitor to Azores from Cambridge, and they won once again. The potatoes were okay, they do make them differently than other restaurants, it's more like baked. It was still delicious but I sort of expected a more softer version. The sauce was nice and combined with rice and chicken it really came alive. Didn't tastle like Piri-piri though, more like buffalo sauce. Nevertheless, the food was great overall and I'll likely come here again.“

“We placed a large order, for the first time, with Mario’s BBQ on Hurontario St. From start to finish, it was a very pleasant experience. It was delivered on time and was fresh and hot. We just had to take the cover off the dishes, and they all looked appetizing and beautifully presented. The portions were huge. Everyone enjoyed the deliciously flavoured roasted and grilled chickens, the rice, and roasted potatoes and veggies. The Greek salad was perfect too. Could not get any better than this.
