“Uptown Churrasqueira is a nice place to eat. They serve yummy chicken and fresh veggies. The chicken was a little cold, and they could have used more sauce (I asked for extra sauce), but it was still cooked well. The veggies were really fresh and tasty. There isn’t a lot of seating, so be prepared to take it on the go!I think it's a good spot to grab a bite, so I would give it five stars. You might want to try it if you're in the mood for some tasty chicken and veggies.I will add though, the area is hard to get in and out of due to the Finch traffic, but if you’re willing to brave it, then you’ve got a good chance at enjoying this place the same way that I did.“

“Found this restaurant yesterday after an appointment at Humber River hospital . We enjoyed half chicken dinners accompanied by Rice potatoes and Salad . The chicken was cooked on the grill to perfection .The salad was simple but delicious . It felt like a warm home cookjed meal on a cold winters day . “Went to this place to have a dinner with my friend. We had calamari to start, and for our mains we ordered la vodka pasta with chicken, and a bifana sandwich. The food was really good, the pasta I ate was cooked well, and the chicken I had was nice and juicy. My friend enjoyed her sandwich, very much. The service was very nice and our food came out quickly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!“

“I have visited the restaurant several times, and I can confirm the food is delicious, always well served, good portions (I have attached pictures, keep in mind some are half doses of the requested food). The customer service is excellent, super friendly and very professional.

“Typical traditional portuguese restaurant that's been around for decades (new ownership apparently according to their Google page).

We had a large party of about 25, but the cook wasn't consistent by serving a few guests rare steaks when asked for medium-well, and someone had a portion of their fish fillet that was raw. One steak was returned, only to get it rarer then the previous one sent back. They should invest in a better grill or cook.

Otherwise, the food tasted good but given the inconsistency, no one wanted to come back.“

“I went to Gallos after work one day for the very first time. I got recommended by family to check them out. I didn’t realize they were closing up and I couldn't believe how kind the owner was who stayed open just to accommodate and wait for me to get there. Loris was so kind to me and made my first time trying gallos so special. He treated me like a part of the family and his mom was so sweet as well. The food was amazing and I loved the chicken, the rice and potato’s. We will definitely go back for the food as we loved it! He even sent me home with some delicious tarts. Thank you Loris for treating us with such kindness. I absolutely loved the food and enjoyed every bite!“
