The food was delicious I recommend this place
As much as I LOVE red rooster Newmarket I was soooo disappointed this weekend. I emailed and called several times over the weekend to place a catering order. Left 2 voicemails. Never heard back from anyone. I took my business elsewhere.
I usually enjoy the food at red rooster however when I was trying to order a family combo to eat there the lady mentioned I cannot order a family combo and that i had to orded a half chicken or a meal which I thought was really weird because im stkll purchasing a combo but just shadonf also the chicken was super dry ans hard to eat i dont think ill be coming back

However, the chicken can be inconsistent, sometimes paper thin and dry, with portions getting smaller. The best Portuguese spot in the entire city. Highly recommend dining in for the first visit to experience the freshness and quality. The chicken breasts, wings, salad dressing, and in-house rice pudding are favorites. Offers a fantastic option for takeout and catering for family, friends, or the office.
