I must say I am disappointed with the amount of people claiming this establishment supports Nazis. Stepan Bandera was a Ukrainian freedom fighter and a symbol of resistance against the ever present ruzzian aggression.
Enough politics. The food and atmosphere are amazing in this place. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially to a non-Ukrainian speaker like my self. I would highly recommend Barrel House Korchma to anyone who asks.
Honest and hearty food! Make you feel good about humanity and I am not exaggerating. No frills. All nourishment. Great borscht!
