Food was good but not quite at the Vietnamese level. However very close to the real thing compared to the rest of the Chinese operated Vietnamese restaurants.
Service was exceptional. The man who seated us was funny and has a lot of energy. Very lively and courteous.
Atmosphere was cozy and place looks clean and tidy. Will go back again.

Pho Metro is a popular Vietnamese restaurant known for its extensive menu and delightful pho. The service is friendly and efficient, especially at the Markham location, though food quality may vary slightly between locations. Customers highly recommend the spring rolls and rice paper rolls. The restaurant consistently offers amazing food with many vegetarian and vegan options, including a spicy rice noodle soup with faux ham and faux beef in a mushroom broth. The portions are large and good for value, and the menu allows many modifications. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and kid-friendly; for example, the owner will trade a child's drawing for a Pokémon card, which many find very sweet. Staff are known to be super sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing a great customer experience. The food portions are always generous, and the restaurant has been a family favorite for ages, with customers visiting multiple times and never being disappointed.
