“A hole-in-the-wall noodle shop I've known since about a year ago and visit occasionally. Not a lot of seating; some 2-seat and 4-seat tables, otherwise it's quite cramped. Quite busy during normal lunchtime; plenty of seating during the weekday afternoon (2-4pm). A bowl of sliced (knife cut) noodles can be had for just $10, tastes great and is stomach filling. About 5% discount when paid in cash.“

“I ordered the beef tripe noodle soup and it’s surprisingly delicious! It also comes with a free pop. The store has limited space but it makes it a cozy dining experience for a quick bowl of noodles. Very satisfying! It becomes one of my favorite places now. How can I not found this place earlier as the server told me they’ve been opening for 10 years already.“

“This is my go-to joint for when I am craving Chinese food. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Always ready within minutes of ordering. Love their har gow, thai vermicelli chicken, beef flat rice noodles, spicy chicken, mango chicken, fried rice and spring/egg rolls. Also the owner is super sweet and packs chili oil for me every time, as she knows I love it with my food. :)“

“I'm a regular at yang's. Ever since it was on Woodbine I've been a huge fan of their hand-pulled noodles and boneless chicken. The service is unbelievable Sherry and Chloe always remember me when I come in and even before I get there and place my order they know exactly who they are serving. There's nothing like being a regular and treated like family. Highly recommend. Never had a bad meal“

“Five stars for The Pho Restaurant. Everything we ordered was excellent. The pho had a rich, comforting broth, and the bo luc lac was tender and full of flavor. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork were a highlight, wrapped in soft rice paper with crisp lettuce and chives, and the peanut hoisin sauce was rich and a little sweet. The fried squid was crispy and not greasy, and the ca phe coconut was a perfect finish. Easily one of my favorite Vietnamese spots in Markham, and I'll be back. Highly recommend!“

“Yang's Braised Chicken Rice (Woodbine) is best known for its signature dish, Braised Chicken Rice. The braised chicken is tender and flavorful, better add some tufu skin and quail eggs，since there are so many add on you can choose，making it a perfect match for rice. Other dishes on the menu are considered average in terms of taste.“

“Order 2 different bowls of noodles for early dinner. Food taste good, except the beef in the noodle soup have a lot of fat which I don't personally like. Whatake this place standout is the washroom: there are signs that tell people to put toilet paper in the trash instead of flushing down the toilet. Imagine sitting on the toilet only to smell foul stench of stinky poop, and possibly flies because people follow their directions.“

“Upon arrival, the server greeted us enthusiastically. We got a handful of side dishes to munch on while our food was in the making. This was the second time we came to this restaurant and we are absolutely in love with the food! Everything tastes incredible!!“

“Came here quite a few times over the years and the quality was consistently good. Not the best Chinese BBQ I ever had but solid and reliable, especially for food court. Roasted pork was very good; Char Siu sometimes not the best cut but flavour is good and not overly salty. The small mixed(2 kinds) platter(pictured)is $12.99 and cheaper than at the supermarket and way better. They had long lineups but worth it.“

“A good place for good Canto food. Afternoon tea time gets you a drink with your meal. Prices are reasonable.
A year later, food is still delicious and consistent! This place has become my go-to especially with my family. Wendy and Pinky and team are always friendly and helpful to my grandbabies!! I have ordered party trays for my famjam and every morsel was devoured.“

“Our family has been coming here long before they moved to Pacific Mall, when we discovered they didn't just disappear, but relocated, we decided to come to the restaurant again. The food is consistently fresh, the kind of fresh where you can actually taste the difference. The eggplant dish came out a bright purple (always a good sign that it hasn't been sitting around), and the duck was really well done - tender, flavourful, with all the things you'd expect from Peking duck.

We ordered things like the grouper, beef and bok choy, and taro pastry - every dish we ordered was delicious, and the portions were fair, enough to takeaway leftovers. The spot is tucked away on the quieter end of Pacific Mall, which means it's a little hidden and easy to miss, but it's a local gem.

I would absolutely recommend, and will definitely be back. If you're at Pacific Mall and want a proper Chinese meal with fresh ingredients and great flavour, make the walk to the far end it's worth it!!“
