“Recently went to this Jack’s location with my kids and some friends. They were very accepting with some seat shuffling at our request. Moreover, our server Emily was great! She was very pleasant and friendly and attentive, without asking she insured our waters and soft drinks were refilled, and she made great recommendations to food and drink choices as we ordered our dinner. Would recommend if you’re looking for decent pub style, relaxed dining for the family or with people to take in a game.“

“Went to East Side Mario's for dinner tonight and had a great dinner. Wait was only less than 5 minutes for a table. Restaurant was busy and there was a Jays game on the TV. We sat down and immediately our waitress Simone came over and greeted us and got us a drink. Then she followed up with our salad and garlic bread while we chose our pasta. Simone was friendly and very polite. A delight to talk to. Our pasta was hot and flavorful. We will definitely be back. Simone definitely knows how to take care of her guests who dine here. Never had a bad meal, highly recommend as they have some of the best wings in the GTA in my honest opinion as I don't even live in Pickering but drive here just for the wings.

Lightly breaded giving the right crispy skin, so many flavors that everyone will find 1 they'll like.“

“Decided to give this place a try because I've been driving past it to work. Ordered the 1/4 leg and rib combo and it is fantastic. Ribs were perfect with a sauce that has the right amount of heat. Ribs and chicken are finished on the grill so the sauce caramelized properly. Generous portion of sides and the staff were friendly. I've been told that the brisket is good and based on what I had I'll be checking it out shortly.“

“Tried The Works in Pickering recently.
The restaurant was clean and the service was good, although the food took a little while to arrive. The burgers were fresh with good toppings and everything tasted good overall.
For 3 people, the bill came to about $90 without drinks — we only had free water — so it felt a bit expensive for burgers and sides. Still, the quality was solid and the portions were okay.
The total price includes $8 tip and taxes.
Signs did indicate lunch specials.

“Had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The Poutine and chees steak were especially delicious, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right.
The place was clean and well-organized, and the service was quick even during busy hours. You can tell the team really cares about quality and customer satisfaction.
