Lone Star Reviews
Fish Tacos were amazing !!!
Recently had eaten at the Pickering location.
BEST food and service. Always my best place to eat out!
Lone Star is a Canadian Company and does not disappoint!!! Prices are modest and you can get a lot more for your buck with specials and offers with great tasty food and great service!! I spent about $100 on couple beers and shrimp tacos and dessert and coffee not bad at all!!! Restaurant was not busy when I visited! I liked the cowboy hats and boots and the decorative style to remind you of Texas!! We have our own Rodeos and I think we can do without the Americans lol !

Lone Star Texas Grill offers a variety of tasty meals, including perfectly cooked steaks, flavorful food, and a good portion of vegetables for vegetarians. The restaurant provides friendly service and is known for accommodating last-minute changes. Guests can enjoy chips and salsa on the house while waiting, and they can take advantage of deals like Wing Nite on Wednesdays. Customers praise the fajitas, queso, and table-made guac, which are considered some of the best. The staff, including servers like Rain and Dixie, are friendly and attentive, often going out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. The restaurant features a Happy hour menu daily from 8 pm to close, with specials such as half-price chicken wings, which are juicy, meaty, and delicious. The wings come with ranch or blue cheese dip and carrots, though the carrots are sometimes not chopped into bite-sized pieces. Beverages like 18oz Budweiser drafts are also available at discounted prices. While some orders may take longer to arrive, the overall atmosphere remains inviting, and the restaurant is appreciated for its daily specials and lunch options. Guests can enjoy the patio with a nice breeze and great margaritas, and the hearty dishes are full of flavor. The fried foods, like fries, are surprisingly good, and the service is very friendly and pleasant. The free chips and salsa are a nice bonus, and the happy hour drinks are $3 off after 8 pm. However, some guests have experienced issues like dry rice with the Chicken chimichanga and occasional problems with order accuracy and temperature. Lights off on the way to the washroom and some items not always available, like the Cinco de Mayo piñata, have been noted. Despite these minor setbacks, Lone Star Texas Grill remains a popular spot for good food, friendly service, and enjoyable atmosphere.
