I've recently discovered just how much I loved Japanese-style curry, so I was obviously quite excited to check out Cafe Green Tea in J-Town. It's a small place attached to a market, and you order your food and then wait for your number to be called. I decided to go with the Curry w/Pork option. My favourite udon dish is from here because of the mushroom - it oozes with flavour! My go to order here is the tempura udon - the tempura usually comes inside the bowl but you can ask for it on the side which is my preference because I like it crispy. This is like a food court style restaurant - you order at the front, take a seat, and they call your number when it is ready. Small Japanese cafeteria-type spot in j-town. This is the best curry omurice I’ve ever had, comparable to ones in Japan. The taste was so homemade, you can tell it was made with love.
