“We previously dined at The Eggplant restaurant, in this same location. It was our favorite restaurant. We were disappointed when it closed. Recently, we discovered that The Wild Oregano is in this location, with the same chef. We were delighted. Sivan was our waiter. He was very professional and pleasant. “What a delightfully unique spot! When you first walk in, the layout and decor might catch you off guard — a little quirky, a little unexpected — but that’s part of the charm. There are a few cozy tables up front, and more tucked away past the grill in the back.

We stopped in for breakfast and were absolutely delighted. Nothing over the top, just a classic, comforting plate of sausage and eggs, prepared with real care. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the fresh fruit on the side was a lovely touch.

Ordered a pickup special pizza from here and I became an addict. Amazing 'to go' as well as by slice. Generous toppings at a great price point. Also, the staff are always friendly and awesome; They are always ready with a smile and genuinely seem to care about their customers and they are passionate about their food.

Great pizza! Super hot and fresh (they only have two pizzas for sale at a time and about two slices of each flavour,

One slice for $4.50 (including tax) is super filling! Remember to ask what kind because the toppings are under the cheese! I had pepperoni and my boyfriend tried the Chicken Delight (spicy slice) and the donair. Donair was really good (I found it a bit too sweet, but it's really popular and worth giving a try!) and i didn't try the Chicken Delight, but it was so good that it inspired him to try the Donair.

Also, the paper plates are super cute.“

“I had a great experience at Mr Nick’s Grill! The Greek omelette was the best—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. The feta, veggies, and seasoning were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous.

The service was excellent as well. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Even the kitchen staff were friendly and smiling, which made me feel really welcome and comfortable. The cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality make this a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Rating changed from 1 star to 5 stars because of Ajay. He is the shining example of what osmows customer service should represent. He is kind, friendly, welcoming and doesn't skimp you on the portions! Give this guy a raise asap. Most valuable member at that location by far! And I met all of them!

Despite Ajay being amazing, the following should still be addressed, reviewed and rectified:

Friday May 29th, 2026, around 5pm.
Your staff are in serious need of training. Not only did they short me on food, but the male server was completely disengaged and made it feel like he was just trying to get rid of us. I thanked him for his services and he gave me a blank stare than continued to speak with his co-worker. Who keep in mind, did nothing to correct his behavior.

Once I arrived home, I can see that he shorted us on the meat for both our large chicken on the rocks and large chicken wrap

When a customer is paying north of 30$ for a meal, this is completely unacceptable. Please rectify the issue.

My recommendation is to replace both those workers or retrain him. They do not understand or meet Canada's standards for customer service. I implore you to look over your security footage for proof.

And for the second time these guys continue too treat me with the most repect and give me quality i wont forget.... last week before ling weekend i ordered a kebob plate to dine in.... i ended up ordering two more to take home with me for my gf and i later that night and she loved everything ! I went back today and i really wanted to try the lamb so i got a plate to go and my god..... to die for , hit my meat craving and freshness was at the top! These guys are so chill and ooo i ate my lentil soup while they prepared my lamb shank to go platter. Amazing hands down ! Thanks guys“

“Wanna get full for $10 and have a quick nutritious meal? This is the spot to be. It's not the most mind-blowing shawarma I've had (they don't claim to be anyway), it truly is some of the best bang-for-your-buck food in the area with well-balanced portions that hit the spot.

The guy working the counter gave rockstar service. There were quite a handful of people including myself, yet he was able to get all of our food out in a timely manner considering he was the only employee- all with a smile on his face. He was also kind enough to go out of his way and grab me water without me asking. It was such a small but thoughtful gesture and I appreciate it a ton.

The chicken shawarma rice plate was well seasoned & portioned, you get 3 veggie toppings and a variety of sauces to choose from. A medium has 4oz of meat for $9.99, or you can get a large for 6oz of meat at $12.99.

I like that they have actual toum and not just shawarma yogurt sauce (although I got that on my food as well and it was delicious). They also offer weekly deals which are pretty cheap imo considering how expensive food is nowadays.

If you're looking for parking I'd look for a curb on Dawes rd and just walk on over. The shop is super tiny and only has two stools for seating so it's best for takeout.“
