“I have been going to Lazeez for almost 12 years. Recently a lot of the locations have been serving poor quality food.
We went to this location last night after Canada's Wonderland, firstly the 2 young workers were super nice and accommodating. We were a large group (3 families) it was close to closing time. They still agreed to accommodate us for dine in. Order was prompt and served perfectly with no issues. The food was fresh and great quality. I must say this is a very good location! Very conveniently located and the staff is fantastic as well. Good job guys!“

“My friend brought me here for dinner tonight. She said that a YouTuber highly recommended this place. I never had Georgian food before, so I was excited about it.

Our server was super friendly and she recommended their signature dishes to us.
The restaurant is clean, no bad cooking smell, washroom is clean as well.

“Brought my family and we all loved the food. We had fattoush salad, tabouli, trio dip (hummus, baba ghanoush, and labneh) to start, with the family mix grill platter with rice as main. Starters were great - impressed with the freshness and flavours. For the platter, the kabob was just just 'ok' - but the shrimp and shish taouk were perfectly cooked and juicy with nice charcoal flavour. Is a little far but there is nothing this good for east Mediterranean cuisine in Markham. Will definitely come again.“

“I got the large chicken souvlaki dinner and it was delicious. The salad was fresh. The chicken was tender. The rice and potatoes were delicious. It’s more of a takeout place than a restaurant, however, there are chairs and tables if you do want to stay there to eat. It’s a very down-to-earth spot and the food feels homemade which was so nice. The people working here were so friendly. I will definitely be going back.“

“For good quality, healthful takeout food in the Yonge and Sheppard area, Pita Lite is a great place to go.

The food is tasty and hearty and can really hit the spot when you're 'hangry'.

The area is inundated with mostly Asian cuisine, which is nice, but Pita Lite is a nice alternative to all of those places.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a hearty meal.

“The food here is very very good. I have eaten here twice in the last month. Once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch, I had the Steak sandwich. I asked for medium well, and it was cooked to perfection. Really melt in your mouth steak. At the time I went for dinner, I had the chicken souvlaki salad. Amazing! It was really tasty, and very fresh. I believe this is their specialty. As a sidenote, the fries and gravy are out of this world. Best I’ve had anywhere. The service was very attentive and friendly. Not crowded at all. There was plenty of space inside for seating. Obviously, I would highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch or dinner.“

“I get the chicken skewer and beef skewer dinner plate with your choice from 2 rice options, potatoes and choice of 2 salads from multiple options. Probably 2.5 lbs of food for just under $19. I can get 2 big dinners from this option, with left over rice and salad. The skewers take a little longer to cook, but worth the wait. However, I don't see this menu option online. I always order and pick up in person. My favourite shawarma place to frequent!

“I just had a Kobideh with rice. Unbelievable! The meal was so hearty and delicious. They served 2 skewers with a generous amount of rice. In these inflationary times, when many restaurants are reducing their portions and especially protein they served this big meal for on $11.99 and the guy had an amazing smile serving it. It is definitely a hidden gem. Let's support these guys so they can open up a bigger dining place. I would absolutely be trying other meal combos when I am around again.

Our second visit was a touch different from our first visit. The food continued to be spectacular with every plate carefully and exquisitely prepared and plated.

The ambience however was much different this time around. There was a very large group on the other side of the restaurant which was not very loud. However, the children of the group decided to use the restaurant as a race track and were constantly running and screaming through the area, where we were dining. It came to the point where we could not even hear ourselves speaking to each other, and the children began to, run right into our table. The wait staff and house staff did nothing to prevent this from happening.

Finally, one of the older children reported to the parents, and the children were retrieved for the time being, only to start again. This actually really impacted our enjoyment of our afternoon. The staff however, served us beautifully, and our server was incredible. I just wish that our party of 7 had a peaceful time to talk without being interrupted by screaming, running and intruding children. The noise level from the screaming and running was evident. The parents of course also play a role, but assistance from the staff to ensure a pleasant experience for all diners would have been great.

Beautiful place in the heart of Kleinburg. The wait staff was attentive and wonderful and the menu had a wide variety of choices. The ambience in the trattoria was calm, classy and elegant. Although it was pretty full when we were dining (noon on a Saturday) the volume in the restaurant was pretty good and my group was able to chat easily without having to strain to hear. The meal was on par and we’ve already started planning our return visit meals. My favourite was the dessert with a delectable crème brûlée. Thank you Belsito for a lovely afternoon lunch!“
