“One of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in awhile, Mr. Tahir the owner and the rest of his staff was so hospitable and welcoming and really made my first experience at Mr. Zagros one to remember, his expertise in the food made me so confident in what I ordered which was the adhana kebab platter which was so juicy and tender which is saying a lot coming from an afghan background. I suggest coming here not only for the amazing food but for the second to none hospitality!Dietary restrictions: Halal Options!“
“Accidentally stumbled across this little eatery after dropping off 2 teenagers at the Park. Had no idea what to pick and asked the gentleman for suggestion. He smiled back and asked me what meat I prefer. It’s a good warm chicken wrap with a generous amount of veggies of my choice, and I picked 2 Chilli for the sauce as I needed the kick after the long drive. That was a really good wrap at just $9.99, and I felt so young as I was surrounded by happy teenagers. The place is not spotless clean as it’s after all a self-serve quick come and go restaurant. The gentleman taking my order is polite to everyone, and that really matters a lot to me. Will definitely come again!“
“This location is amazing, their food is always so well made not like some other places. They make such amazing quality of food I couldn't recommend them more. Not only is their food great but their customer service is the best I've seen in a while! I lost my health card and they went out of their way to found me on instagram to give it back to me. I could not be more grateful. If you want unbelievably good food you should definitely come here. Personally this is the only Osmow's I will ever go to.“
“I must say I’m amazed. It’s hard to find a good traditional shawarma and on top of that great quality and great service. This checked off all those boxes and more. And best of all it’s in my neighborhood. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. I hope to enjoy more meals from here from the future to come!“
“I was excited to hear about a place that serves Halifax style donairs so I was real anticpating this one. Now I am not disappointed but feel that are differences between the two I say this because I was born in Halifax, N.S. and donairs is #1 thing that people love. The difference is the thickness of the sauce, thickness of the pita and there is no lettuce added to a traditional donair just white onions and tomatoes to round it out. With these few changes to there donair you can say it would make it more authentic. These donairs are delicious and flavourful.“
“I come here at least 1-2 times a week. The hospitality and care of the employees are always so welcoming. The food is always exceptional, breaking my expectations every single time.Whether it be for a solo dining session, family meal, even a snack, I highly suggest and recommend coming here!!“
“A very high quality family owned restaurant with genuineness in their food and service. I got a chance to speak briefly to Abdul (our server) about the restaurant and was impressed by the facts. You don’t find places like this too often, I highly recommend, even for take-outs since their dine-in space is limited during rush hours.“
“Best branch so far, the guy who handled my food was a short brown guy (most likely south asian) with an earring, golf hat and he also had a tag on his chest that said shift lead, this guy was very kind and professional, and took his time to prepare my wraps heat it properly and wrapped it very well! Aside from that the food was excellent that salad didn’t smell and was fresh…I had a positive experience and thought that the least I could do to support the restaurant and it’s employee is to write this positive feedback!“
“Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the Lamb Beyti. It’s rolled lamb, was yummy but cooked medium. I should have asked for medium rare because it wasn’t as tender as I wanted. Eat it fast because the lamb pieces are small and cool quickly. Still it was delicious when it was warm. Tea was free surprisingly and free is always good.“
“Had a shawarma wrap and a few falafels to go. Perhaps the best shawarma wrap I’ve ever had. Spoke with the owner and he seemed like a very genuine, friendly guy.On the wall is a beautiful mural with a little Easter egg so to speak.I’ll be going back, that’s for sure!Parking: Right out front. Shared parking with other stores. I had no problem finding parking spot right in front.“
