I would say this place is really good value for the price, but I think the quality has went down a little in the past year. The platter sets with the torched sushi are still the highlight of their menu.
Hidden upstairs in a food court in the Shops at One Yonge Mall, this is truly my favourite sushi places and hidden gems in the GTA. I always get my sushi platters here (despite many other sushi spots) - as they never disappoint. I usually get the Roll Tray Large (82 pieces for $65) which has an assortment of special rolls and torched sushi! (Not many sushi places have torched sushi in their platters but they do). Located in a food court, Aburiyaki provides a very generous portion for $15. I got the Korean hae dap bap and comes with soup and a tea. We have been here a few times for platters, fresh fish with generous pricing! This is great for a take out. Or casual dining in the food court.
