“When I first heard of this place, there were a lot of mixed reviews, but I finally decided to give it a try for myself. I was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy the food, comparable to other restaurants and good value for the quantity. It was incredibly busy with tons of chefs in the back and several waiting for orders at the front on a weekday night. I would definitely prefer to order ahead rather than on the spot. I'd also like for an online ordering system on their own site and pick up in person instead of phoning, I like to think it would help in getting orders correct when it's in writing.Parking: The plaza has ample parking yet full of chaotic drivers so I would prefer to order ahead/pickup.“
“I always loved this place. I used to work nearby in the 1990s and would come here for lunch. Last summer we got to go back a few times. The service was excellent and so was the food. Large portions and friendly service haven't changed!“
“I usually do not give reviews on food businesses in a food court at a mall, whether good or bad. I was so pleasantly surprised with the food I got from Manchu Wok yesterday that I had to post. I ordered General Tso’s chicken and BBQ pork with Lo mein noodles. It was delicious! So much so that I would order it from Uber when I get another craving. I’ve ordered from several Chinese and Hakka restaurants in Pickering and I enjoyed the Food Court Chinese more than I enjoyed theirs. “I come here for spice and seasoning when I need it in my life. The reason I gave four stars instead of 5 is because the island mix hot wings are not as spicy as they used to be. It doesn't deserve to be called a hot wing it's a mild wing. very mild. my favorite dish from here is the garlic shrimp that goes perfectly with the fried rice. the sauce is delicious ? the shrimp quality and meat quality is excellent however it needs to be seasoned authentically. stop catoring to the ones that can't handle spice they don't need to order hot wings they can order any other flavor. thats not fair to your loyal customers. cheers“
