First time here and not familiar w shaanxi food specifically. Take out. Have had a lot of Cantonese, some northern Chinese Etc. Food was ok but maybe won’t go back. Had the shaanxi pickled bun with lamb and noodle/veg broth thing (not a bun like a pc of dry bread for those who didn’t know like me, but like chewy dough bread crumble pcs in the soup). It was ok. I would like to give it 10 stars! The first bite brought me back to China, so real. It came with a good amount. The renovation is nice, and the background music is from my generation. The waitress is like my sister, and even the tea is real red tea. Now I miss home so much. ?

By the time we stepped inside the restaurant, a delicious aroma filled the air. The server later told us it was from their lamb soup, slow-cooked for many hours. The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the appetizer was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive. I wish there were a branch of this restaurant in Chicago.
