I highly recommend the sweet potato drinks, the pear drinks, and the orange americano, since its stuff u rarely see anywhere else! They have steam cabbages and soup or soya milk drink included for only $5 at the vendor that sells BBQ. My parents in law come here for good take out food all the time.“

“When I was working at Guangdong TV station more than 30 years ago, I often went to the nearby "Dake" food stall to eat. Stir-fried beef rice noodles, hand-pulled rice rolls, chicken rice porridge, braised pig intestines, cold melon beef, etc. were all must-haves for us. Called Xiaodian. Unexpectedly, a "Dake" porridge, noodle and porridge shop opened in Toronto many years ago. The store's hand-pulled rice rolls have thin, tender skin, and the porridge is made with authentic ingredients, full of flavor, and is reasonably priced. Worth recommending.“

With the food court there is plenty of seating to suit any size party.

The air circulation is definitely not the best but with the warmer days of summer and all 6 restaurants cranking out dishes the warm breeze is expected.

The service is quick and efficient, just remember to bring cash as they do not accept any form of plastic/ electronic funds

I had veg thali including sev tameta, Dal and baigan bharat, everything was top notch.

Dabeli was a little spicy.

Vada pav was good and tasty.

Chaas was nice and thick.

This food-court stall is basic rather than polished, but a tasty meal for around CA$7 can easily leave leftovers. It is an authentic, generous, and genuinely valuable option for families trying to eat well on a budget.“

“1st time trying Taste of Hong Kong and ordered the crispy pork chop dan dan noodles. Luv the portion size, plenty of noods. Crispy pork and size. Only food vendor at this food court that offers dan dan noodles. My 1st ever able to order dan dan with crispy pork.

A nice touch when you can order an iced tea at no charge as part of the complimentary when ordering the dan dan crispy pork noods.

Only drawback is the broth, flavour is good but a bit liquidity and would prefer a little bit more viscosity.“
