Love the 魯肉飯Minced pork rice!!! It’s my favorite!! But it would be better if I could order the soft-boiled eggs 半熟蛋with the rice🥹🥹
Anyway, it’s so glad that I finally found local Taiwan dishes in Markham! LOL“

Blindfold me with earplugs, and I'd still find my way to this restaurant, as the unmistakable aroma of stinky tofu is perceptible a mile away. The aroma is actually much more pungent than its taste, and the mouthwatering savoury and salty taste accompanies a light crisp on the golden exterior and a moist, airy interior. It was a wonderful appetizer to the heartwarming bowl of hand-pulled noodles, each strand having a satisfying bounciness that soaks up the beefy, pickled broth with pickled mustard wonderfully. The slices of lean beef are surprisingly tender, but the tendons melt into a gooey, creamy texture in your mouth and release a delicious beefy aroma. Also, the douban chili oil that you can scoop as much as you want? Literal crack.“

“Thanks so much Cowa for providing such excellent service, especially during cold weather. The food always arrived at our front door warm and delicious. It saved us so much time and portion is big for both mom and dad! I compared a few confinement food companies in GTA and at the end decided to go with Cowa because;(1) it has a central commercial kitchen with permit from the city instead of home kitchen(2) it has a set pre determined menu(3) it allows me use my own glass boxes(4) the service is excellent (thanks to Brandon) and provide lots of flexibility when I wanted to switch the menu a bit.Last but not least, we liked it so much and we ordered two months! “First time here and it was packed! There was so much variety of veggies and sides to pick for your bento and prices are fair! I got the popcorn chicken and it was real good stuff!

It is a takeout spot only and they’re also cash only so keep that in mind before heading over.“

“Really enjoyed my meal at Xin Yi Time! It’s getting harder to find affordable meals these days, so I was surprised that most dishes here are under $13 while still giving such massive portions.

I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice and it tasted very authentic — super flavorful, well marinated, and nice and saucy. Every combo also comes with rice and 2 veggies, which makes it feel like a complete home-style meal.

The shop itself is small and simple, run by a friendly Asian auntie, which gives it a cozy homemade vibe. Definitely more of a takeout spot, but great for a quick affordable comfort meal. Would come back again!“

“Went on a Saturday, extremely busy plaza was full of cars. We ordered the special stewed pork back bone. Very tasty and meaty. We also ordered steamed dumplings and a pan fried dumplings and a beef roll. Service was very quick. All of the servers work so hard.“

“When I was shopping at FoodyMart I noticed that there was a bubble tea store inside the store, it also has a promotional event where you can buy one drink and the second one 50% off.I got Two Ladies and a Bubble Gaga for $11! It was super good! Would definitely come back again to buy!“
