“Hale, a classic Toronto coffee roaster. Highly recommend, I mostly get their Hale espresso blend for beans that I use at home.

Coffee needs QC, as espresso shots are inconsistent but I don’t blame them. It’s difficult to sometimes dial in always perfect shot, still recommend to anyone.

I used to frequent their location in Square One before it closed, be sure to stop by! Also friendly staff always!“

It can become busy with limited seats available for dine-in, but that's the nature of being an excellent business in this city. Would recommend!“

“I’ve been working in the financial district for over 15 years, and have never written a review for a coffee spot here. My go to used to be Formo Cultura, cause I hated Mos Mos, and Dineen, and maman was just okay, but my God I’ve never had a latte like the one here. Which scares me cause I don’t think I can go back and this coffee spot is not path accessible but I might risk it all in Canadian winters for coffee from here.“

“Been to pilot a few times because it is in the path. I always used to come for the pear cider and I am really sad that that is gone, I wish some of their staples stayed on the menu. This summer I’ve been really into matcha and tried their mango sticky rice matcha which was creative and the strawberry matcha. I quite liked the mango sticky rice one although I couldn’t quite taste the sticky rice (coconut / condense milk flavouring) but the mango comes out quite nicely. I thought the strawberry one was fairly tasty too. My only small issue is there is way too much ice in the drink.“
