La Nayarita Reviews
Expensive. Food wasn't fresh, took over 2h for my drink which was so sweet I couldn't drink it, fungas gnats all over our table, we went as a group and we paid nearly $100 a person for crappy food, service, well if you call reheated appetizers food that is. La Nayarita is a Mexican restaurant known for its delicious food and friendly service. The menu features dishes like huevos rancheros, Molcate cielo mar y tierra, enchiladas, and nachos, all served generously and with care. The restaurant is a go-to spot for celebrations and offers gluten-free options along with a good selection of drinks, including mezcal margaritas and the highly praised spicy guava margarita. It is ideal for big groups and families, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Guests enjoy the mole, which is soft and tasty, and the restaurant’s Posole soup, often considered the best they have ever had. The ambiance is charming, and the hospitality is notably above average. While some tortillas could be better and the music can be a bit loud, the staff’s friendliness, including cheerful hosts like Cynthia and upbeat servers like Perla, make it a favorite spot for many visitors. The quesabirria is very rich and comforting, especially paired with guacamole and in-house hot sauce. Although the tres leches cake could be improved, the overall experience at La Nayarita remains highly enjoyable.
