Food was delicious. We shared a single order of beef gringa. Generous portions. Service was excellent. The decor is attractive. It's a simple and small restaurant with not a lot of seating. Menu is simple. Great lunch spot.
The rice horchata water my favourite ?The portions are pretty big. The chilaquiles with red sauce were so spicy. Even for a Mexican person who eats spice, it was too spicy.I couldn’t finish the meal because of the spice.

We recently gone twice to Balam for takeout and have been very happy with the food and service. So far we've had the tinga de pollo tacos, grilled chicken gringas, cochinita pibil gringas, and beef torta. Looking forward to trying more things from the menu.
