Kara Mia offers a nice ambiance and great service, with fairly priced menu options. While the chicken parmesan was not impressive, the steak with peppercorn sauce and the saffron steak were delicious. The saffron sauce and saffron poutine are must-try dishes. However, the burger was disappointing as it was made with a frozen patty instead of fresh meat. The food portions are reasonable, but could be larger. Kara Mia has a variety of vegetarian options, as well as clearly labeled gluten-free and dairy-free choices. The restaurant is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible, with ample parking available.
