“It's one of my favorite spots. Ordered 2 large bombers today. Got it hot and fresh. The taste was phenomenal. Whenever i visit in person, the staff provides a really good customer experience with recommendations and polite treatment. Must visit.“
“I recently visited my local Taiwanese fried chicken joint, just a stone's throw away from my place. Whether I'm dining in or ordering through UberEats, their fried chicken never disappoints – always crispy and delicious.Today, my family party of four tried their family combo #4 along with some popcorn chicken and fries on the side. The portions were generous and perfect for our group. The dining area was tidy and inviting, and the service was top-notch; the lady working there was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.Highly recommend this spot!“
“Visiting this place on Saturday night from a 3 hours drive away. I called this place and found that it’s almost closed and can’t serve, I wanted just a crispy chicken sandwich. Later minute, I got a call back from Aryan who told me he can manage the order and asked me to come back. Amazed by the service, extremely glad to have the last minute order we wanted.“
“I'm a fried chicken connoisseur and this is one of the better fried chicken places I've been to. Might be a bit hard to communicate because the owners don't speak English well but it's worth it.Please note this long review is exclusively about the chicken only, not the burgers.Rating:Skin - 9/10, crunchy, light, fluffy, well flavouredMeat - 7/10, fairly well seasoned, tender, and very juicy. Both the spicy and non spicy are well flavoured.Sliminess factor - 15%. Korean chicken places rely on the sauce to give flavour while neglecting actually marinating the chicken well.Sliminess factor - 5 to 25%. Varies wildly. Some have no slime and others are incredibly slimy.“
“I got the chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was big and irregularly shared. It was very crunchy and the chicken was still tender and not dry. They add a lettuce with some mayo sauce. I thought the mayo sauce was weirdly too sweet and just a little off. Didn't like it but didn't ruin the whole sandwich. It's nice that they also give you gloves and wet wipes to keep your hands clean.“
“Been to this location three times now. Most recently with my gf who was finally freed from covid recovery prison lol. There's maybe like 4-5 street parking slots available. Otherwise you gotta park nearby at the theater or in the Terre Rouge parking lot (next to the merry-go carousel). Our server was bubbly and smiley. Idk if it was the owner herself serving us but she was very knowledgeable about the menu. It's a very famous korean fried chicken chain. They offer so much flexibility on their menu. You can get sautéed or fried chicken. You can choose wings, boneless or bone-in chicken. And you can go half and half on your orders if you want to try different flavors. There's just so much customization at this KFC place. The chicken is super crispy, plump, juicy and sauced so well. The rosé tteokbokki is one of the best rosé tteokbokki my gf and I have ever had. The sauce reminded me of butter chicken but had the consistency of pasta sauce?! So it felt like I was eating a really hearty pasta. There was just so much umami in that tteokbokki.I've tried the secret sauced (yangnyeom basically), golden fried, gangnam style and galbi Q. They all taste phenomenal. What's also unique is that boneless here is not popcorn chicken style like Home of Hot Taste, My-My or Mr. Chimaek. Boneless here means large chicken chunks that have been deboned. So that was interesting. I might actually prefer boneless here over bone-in now that I think about it. Tough call. All they're missing on the menu is literally padak flavor (green onion on top with honey mustard sauce).Nevertheless, for korean fried chicken this place leaps right into my top tier alongside Mr. Chimaek, My-My and Home of Hot Taste. It might just leapfrog Home of Hot Taste (if you're just judging fried chicken) tbh.I'll definitely come back to go through the other unique flavors on their menu (gangjeong and cheesling I'm looking at you guys).“
