“Tried Chicas Hot Chicken while traveling in Toronto and really enjoyed it. I got the OG sandwich — the one that’s earned them Michelin recognition multiple times — and it definitely lived up to the hype. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and cooked to order. My wife got the hot honey chicken it was really good too. A little pricey, but not unreasonable for the quality; feels like a solid “treat yourself” lunch spot.

I went right when they opened and there was no line, which I’d recommend because everything is made fresh and took about 10–15 minutes. Plan ahead, but worth the wait.“

“I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken thanks to Gagan and Daksh! From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, friendly, and super attentive. They took the time to explain the spice levels properly and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it.

The food was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned — but what really made the visit stand out was their customer service. They were patient, professional, and had such positive energy the whole time. It honestly made the whole experience better.

“I’ve been here at least 5 times already and it NEVER disappoints. My go-to order is the bulgogi pizza with the garlic dip (honestly the best dip I’ve ever tasted). The signature shrimpbul is packed with toppings, super filling and definitely spicy. The crazy chicken shrimp is probably my second favourite. Close to TMU, great service, clean and inviting! Highly recommended :)“

“I really like the corn with cheese, spicy sauce chicken, and soy garlic chicken. The tteokbokki is pretty good too. If you get chicken, the beer is very cheap also (50% off beer pitcher). As for the non-alcoholic drinks, I like the grapefuit-ade. However, the atmosphere isn’t the greatest… (clean tables but loud music and peeling seats and walls)“

They offered us plates and cutlery, and our cashier was very friendly, I wish I got her name. I do find it can be quite costly but it is good quality. We will definitely visit this location again!“

During my visit there was a Huge Line for that Free Chicken and I ordered the Reaper Sandwich which is made with Carolina Reaper Pepper and yes it sure is Spicy! Believe it or Not I ate the sandwich without having anything to drink and I sure felt like a Dragon On Fire Afterwards! Lol. Furthermore, in order to get your sandwich, You had to register on TikTok or Instagram and I did it through TikTok in which I recently opened up my account just to get the Hot Chicken Sandwich! Seating and atmosphere OK but not spectacular. Service was fine but the server at the front had to keep asking us multiple questions that should have been obvious. Vraiment sympathique et efficace, j’ai été servi par une certaine Sylvie et aussi tout le reste de l’équipe était vraiment chaleureux … ce qui créait une belle ambiance dans ce petit resto fast food ! “Visited this location around lunch. It was super busy but the service was great. Staff were friendly and professional. I had the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and it was really good. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The place has a nice vibe, with lots of indoor seating. Definitely worth trying and would go back again.“

“I had the food a day late but the chicken was still really good after heating it up (I got the grilled leg) but the rice was not so great but again that’s a day old. I also got to try the donut, so delicious and light! The place wasn’t busy when I went but I definitely would go back again! I’d probably opt for trying the fries next time because it seems to be more of a chicken shop type place.“

“Absolutely amazing seafood feast! 🦞✨ The lobster was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning and garlic. Every bite was rich and satisfying.

The mussels were incredibly fresh and coated in a savory sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. The flavors were bold, well-balanced, and truly mouthwatering.

“Yesterday was my very first time trying Chick N Joy. I decided to order home delivery. I have to say I'm surprised of the portion sizes, I wasn't expecting it to be so much. I like that the meals are priced right for the portion. I really enjoyed the golden crispy fries, and also the macaroni salad. I didn't enjoy the Homemade Butter Biscuit, it felt more like bread that was steamed, but otherwise tasted okay. I was looking for more of a tea biscuit texture. The chicken skin was very salty, but the chicken was ok (for the white meat), but as for the dark meat I didn't really enjoy it as if felt a little bit under cooked.“

They always take the time to ensure my order is served how I request it (with lotsa extra sauce). I’ve never had a bad order here.
