Starbucks in Markham

“We love strolling through Main Street Unionville and the surrounding trails with our boxer dog, Ray. One especially hot Friday evening, we stopped by the local Starbucks to grab some water and a pup cup for Ray—she devoured it with joy!

After a walk along the trail, Ray suddenly slowed down and became unresponsive. I rushed back to Starbucks and asked for water. The two baristas working that night, Darren J. and Fay, immediately handed me a cup—no questions asked. It made a huge difference, and Ray slowly started showing signs of life. I returned again, explained the situation, and they kindly gave me another cup with ice and a second pup cup to lift her spirits—all completely free of charge.

Thanks to their generosity and kindness, Ray bounced back and happily enjoyed her second puppuccino. We’re incredibly grateful to Darren and Fay for their compassion and care. Starbucks is lucky to have such thoughtful and animal-loving team members!“

“A really pleasant spot to wander into during a lazy Sunday summer stroll. The cafe is clean, bright, and has a very welcoming, open layout. Even though it's a busy neighborhood location, the afternoon energy inside was surprisingly chill and laid-back. The staff were polite, and the pickup counter was kept totally spotless. “I had a wonderful experience at Starbucks recently and felt compelled to share just how enjoyable it was. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. The café was clean, well organized, and had that classic cozy Starbucks vibe that makes you want to sit down, relax, and take your time.

We ordered the dark roast coffee and the coconut coffee, and both were absolutely fantastic. The dark roast had a rich, bold flavor that coffee lovers will really appreciate. It was smooth, full-bodied, and perfectly brewed. The coconut coffee was equally impressive — creamy, slightly sweet, and refreshing with a subtle tropical flavor that made it feel like a special treat rather than just a regular cup of coffee.

To go along with our drinks, we tried the pesto sandwiches, and they were delicious. The bread was fresh and lightly toasted, the pesto had a great aromatic flavor, and the ingredients tasted high quality and well balanced. It paired perfectly with the coffee and made for a really satisfying snack.

What truly made the visit stand out was the overall experience. The staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly cared about making sure customers had a good time. Even though it was fairly busy, our order was prepared quickly and everything came out exactly right.

Overall, it was a fantastic visit. Great coffee, tasty food, and excellent service all in one place. If you enjoy high-quality coffee and a comfortable café atmosphere, this Starbucks location is definitely worth visiting. I’m already looking forward to coming back again!“

“Two things will tell you if you’re at a good location.1. Exceptional staff and baristas who don’t miss a beat, and 2. The quality and taste of the Nitro Cold Brew. And this location won me at that.I’m a bit particular about the taste of Nitro, and if its pulled wrong or the ratio of water that is mixed in is wrong, it can throw the flavour off. If the tanks and lines aren’t cleaned properly you can get a bitter or strange tasting beverage. There are a lot of moving parts in making sure the cold brew is up to par, and is usually a good indicator as to how much care the staff takes in preparing the cold brew (and likely everything else). That litmus test is what I personally use to know if I want to keep going to a location or not, and I never have issues here.Also special shout-out to JC who knew exactly what I wanted from my Nitro beverage. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Keep up the great work. Cheers!“

“Great experience today! I originally asked for soy milk, but they were out. The server (who seemed a little nervous) kindly explained and asked what other milk I’d like instead. She handled it really well, made my drink perfectly, and it was still delicious. She did a great job — keep it up! 👏☕️ too bad I didn’t catch her name though..“

I was in a rush and accidentally ordered my drink wrong on the app. When I got there, I realized my mistake and was a bit disappointed, but the barista noticed right away and kindly offered to remake it exactly how I originally wanted it. “They should put the Frappuccino flavors on the menu board, like their other branches。Regardless, smoothie is well-blended, not too watery, and has just the right level of sweetness without being overwhelming.
Even though it's quite busy, there are still seats available for dining in. There are also outdoor seats.“

“I had amazing service when I came, this is my go to Starbucks location now. Especially the baristas Kelvin and Mitchell, they make my day so much better whenever I see them as my servers. They deserve a raise for the drinks that they make for me.“
