First time to come, I love the food and very reasonable price, will come again and again!
I have only has the toasted western and fries. Without ant doubt at all this western is way better than any other I have ever had and the price was reasonable. The fries were good. Bright and fresh rather than darker brown indicating old grease. I have only been there twice both times about 2 pm to 3 pm and I was the only one there. There aren't many homey places like this, especially in Markham. Roger the owner, his family, and his staff are all so warm & friendly, true service professionals.

Uncle Joe's Family Restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of an English pub. The restaurant has recently undergone upgrades, and the new cook has impressed many with their amazing food. The Braised Pork Knuckle/hock is well-cooked, and the French onion soup is a great option. The grill dishes, especially the steak and lamb, are perfectly cooked with a nice char. The steak is beautifully done, leaning towards medium rare, while the shrimp pasta is delicious and the shrimp is perfectly cooked. The sides, like smash potatoes and butter grilled veggies, complement the meals well. The decor is clean and tidy, typical of a cafe/diner style. Visitors can enjoy a lovely family-style environment, and the waitstaff are efficient and friendly. With plenty of parking available, guests can take a walk along the scenic Main St. Overall, a highly recommended spot for breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner with delicious food and fantastic service.
