“Came here for my birthday. Felt really welcomed by all the staff, from the complimentary valet service and coat check to the manager and waiter and servers at our table! Special mention: our waiter Dean was really attentive throughout the evening and made recommendations and had good knowledge of the menu and each dish!We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Scaramouche! The food was excellent, service top notch and really comfortable atmosphere. We had the artichoke soup, lamb rack, and lobster risotto. ‘Milk & honey’ for dessert ? it’s honey mousse with milk wafers and icecream! Delicious!Parking: Complimentary valet parking and coat check”
“The food brought me back to northern italy! The service was amazing. Definitely recommend the burrata, cacio e pepe, gnocchi and their housemade gelato! Will be back!”
“Fantastic service, great food and an overall lovely evening. Absolute favorite was the mistake mushroom, please do yourself a favor and try it out, it’s unlike any mushroom dish you’ve tried before.Insulation next to the windows could be improved so the guests sitting next to the windows won’t feel the wind blowing through the windows.”
“This restaurant has been my favourite restaurant and I go there every time I am craving some comfort food. Not only the food but the service here is genuinely amazing as they are so attentive to you. Highly recommend! And my server , Yong Li was an absolute amazing person who was super sweet and attentive the whole time I was there. :)”
“A warm, intimate restaurant perfect for solo dining or a small group. Delicious wines, inventive dishes, friendly staff and an air of camaraderie across all aspects of the show. Lovely, would dine ”
“Underground Thai place to try. Without a reservation you may have to wait a while but the bar counter will welcome you enthusiastically. Then an SMS will notify you that your table is ready, efficient and a nice idea. However, the telephone table booking procedure absolutely needs to be reviewed.Quick service, decent food quality, without an exaggerated choice but still good. The level of spiciness needs to be reviewed, I recommend a little spicy or even not at all spicy. It covers too much of the great tasteVegetarian options: As per Thai tradition there are several VEG dishes, shame about the lack of Morning”
“We’ve been eager to try Haidilao for years, and we finally made it there—and what an experience it was! We’ve visited many all-you-can-eat (AYCE) hotpot places before, but Haidilao truly felt like a step into luxury.Opting for the à la carte menu, we ended up spending about four times what we usually do at an AYCE hotpot spot, but the experience was absolutely worth it. The staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel like VIPs for no apparent reason. All the meats were of high quality, and the seafood was exceptionally fresh. We loved their sauce bar, and the freshly hand-pulled noodle performance added a fun touch to the meal. They even gave me a toy, which was a delightful surprise. Truly, Haidilao offered an unparalleled dining experience that we can’t wait to come back.”
“Service is over the top. The guy that brought the soup base was also very nice to us. Management is good. Navin has been excellent every time with her service and smiles. Brings a smile to every one of us every time we are here :)Vegetarian options: Can mix and match your own :) very vegan friendly :)Dietary restrictions: Everything is very good. Love the oat milk soup base :)Kid-friendliness: So friendly and so nice for family gathering and casual meals”
“Arguably the top restaurant in Canada. From the moment you step into the restaurant and head to your seat, you will notice the quality of service will be aligned for the whole night. This is my second experience and everything has been consistent since the first (3 years ago during covid)My favourite part was noticing how they remove your plates/cuterly after each meal. Our sommelier recommended us the perfect wine for the night.I got the pleasure observe the kitchen from my table. If you are into the culinary scene, you will notice how meticulous they are when it comes to preparing your dish. From the steps they take to the team chants they do.After watching the TV series 'the bear' (highly recommended) you will appreciate the little things you didn't notice before.Thank you for the wonderful night and this will not be my last experience at alo.”
“It was our first time having Pakistani food and Raahi guided us beautifully and made amazing suggestions . The food is really super tasty. The ambiance also is cozy and welcoming.Jash also was very attentive too. We'll be back!!!!!”
“One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The rotating menu uses local, seasonal ingredients. They have a no gratuity policy, and for the quality, I’d say the price is very reasonable ($130 for 2 people, not including drinks). They also have a rotating tasting menu but we were very full ordering a la carte.”
“My wife and two of our grown kids were in town for the last night of Feist’s tour so where to eat? My wife chose 1 kitchen not knowing it was in a hotel. Hotel dining can sometimes be an iffy proposition. NOT so here. The food was very good. Their dip sampler was delicious, served with crusty, grilled bread and crudités…the red pepper Babaganoush being the standout. Same with the roasted Eggplant, served on a brushstroke of tahini yogurt mixed with fresh herbs and sprinkled with roasted hazelnuts. The Gnocchi with Corn and cotija was delicious but frankly needed salt and my son enjoyed the rigatoni with Vegan Chorizo…yes, VEGAN Chorizo is a thing! Lastly my Salmon was well cooked. The skin crispy on the outside with the interior still slightly undercooked. The Chermoula while tasty, was more like a Chimichurri, which unfortunately didn’t really do well when cooked. It was added to the skin side and not the flesh side so you couldn’t really tell it was there. However the waitress brought more over and it was a delicious accompaniment to the fish and it’s Broccolini over a Beurre Blanc. The service was excellent and she even offered us her own extensive bucket list of restaurants to choose from for the next days meal! We took desserts to go. NOT a cheap meal, but we were more than satisfied and left feeling well fed and well cared for.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and a few vegan options”
“Very pleased with the food and service. Felt a bit rushed at the end, and had to wait to be seated, even we had reservations. Very tasty food, I was pleasantly surprised. Would come again.”
“We got in at 9:30pm & even closing at 10pm we were able to get seated, all 5 of us. All 5 of us were eating within 16 minutes. The food was so delicious/ homey & the vibes were perfect. This is the place for sure & great service always helps which is what they have! Nice music to!?Vegetarian options: The are options for vegetarians to..Try the veggie stew!Parking: Parking was closed off today..Other parkingStreet parking”
“This is the best hot pot place I've ever been! I love that the employee, Steve was so nice to us! This place is also an AYCE place :) I'll visit this place more often ?”
“The service is very attentive and the food is super delicious. It comes once a week and the ingredients are all very fresh. You won’t be disappointed if you come here.”
“Quetzal is one of my favourite michelin restaurants in Toronto. Every time I visit, food gets even better. Scallop and octopus are a must-try. Tajima rib eye and A5 wagyu were one of the best steak I ever had. The mushroom dish goes extremely well with the steak. I tried many cocktails/ mocktails/ wine at Quetzal as well and it certainly gave me a more refined Mexican experience. Servers are very kind and friendly. I wish I could give 10 stars if there was an option!”
“This restaurant has been recommended by a friend for a long time and I finally stopped by to try it today! It was not meal time when we went, so luckily we didn’t have to wait for a table, but the tables inside were almost full. The store pays great attention to service attitude, and the lady Jenny who helped us order was super gentle and gave a lot of good suggestions. We ordered four dishes of Perfume Frog, Maoxuewang, Pickled Pepper Rabbit and Yellow Throat. They tasted really good. Because we like spicy food, we chose to add spicy food. After adding spicy food, Maoxuewang was indeed spicier and more enjoyable. The fat sausage in it is well processed. Even people who don’t eat fat sausage find it quite delicious after eating it! The only thing I am a little disappointed with is that there is too little blood in Mao Xue Wang and the pieces are smaller...but I personally highly recommend Perfume Frog! The frog meat is fresh and tender, and the diced melon inside (it seems to be chayote) is super sweet and delicious!”
“Wonderful restaurant! Apps were amazing (toasted focaccia and burrata), mains were good too (saffron tonnarelli was a bit too spicy for us; the branzino was lovely). Perfect amount of seasoning overall. Great wine selection. Would definitely go back.”
“Where the east meets west. Indulge in the finest sea urchins, bluefin tuna belly, and freshly prepared wasabi—all at an unparalleled value. Immerse yourself in the ambiance and engage with the chef for a richer experience, enhanced further if you can speak a bit of Japanese.”
“Absolutely loved everything about our experience! From the staff, to the food... everything was perfect. We learnt a lot about the origins of the food, wine and took in the beautiful view of the CN Tower. Again... cannot say anything but positives for Don Alfonso's! It's our slice of Italy right in the heart of Toronto!”
“Tried out the testing menu. It was Plant Based, Innovative, and Delicious. The best ones were the simplest dishes.A few too many dishes with citrusy notes; The complex ones had too many elements, flavourful but maybe not necessary.Very warm and welcoming staff.Vegetarian options: Plant based”
“Délicieuse in every way! Le Swan is a classic, chic, elevated French style diner. The food is amazing, service is top notch & the cocktails are delicious. We loved everything & had such a great time there. Our server was friendly, funny & very knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent suggestions of both drinks & food. Some of our highlights were, well, everything! We are excited to go back to try the items we didn’t get!”
“No clue if the food is good, but saw them in a video on Reddit cut up a deer in the window in front of some anti-meat protestors in their own protest. Nice work Antler!!!!”
“My husband and I have eaten at #Pukka on St Clair West quite a few times. We love the Indian fusion cuisine. They have great dishes with mild spice we often ask them to spice it up a bit more. Some of the dishes we’ve enjoyed. The spinach stuffed with fig appetizer is wonderful. The vegetable pakora has a lot of flavor with a great tomato chutney. The Chicken 65 is fantastic. We love the curry main dishes including spicy Punjabi chicken, creamy pumpkin and an amazing duck breast with blueberries, the butter chicken is nice and sweet and mild spice but great flavor. We enjoy the beverages including ginger lemonade, and ruby ginger drink. We love visit on the early bird dinner from 5-6 as we try new things. We love the attentive service and We will be back to Pukka again. #pukkatoronto #LocalToronto #stclairwestvillage #punjabichickencurry #pumpkincurry”
“Excellent atmosphere, delicious sushi (as expected from Kibo), and even better service. I’ve been to many different Kibo locations over the years and this one is far superior to all others.”
“Vegan food but not just for vegans. I eat meat protein most days but wanted to try with a vegetarian friend. The food was excellent. Our server, Ben, offered great options to choose, esp. The Bang Bang Brocoli. Enjoy!”
“Great food. Dabeli and chai worth trying it. Dabeli is flavourful and authentic taste. Chai also gives you feeling like drinking tea at Indian tea stall. Great egg dishes and Sandwitches. Mohit is very friendly and knowledgeable. I own food business myself and Mohit is perfect front counter employee fits in any business. Kudos to eggholic team for their customer service and great food. Will definitely visit again in future and recommend to everyone.”
“First off, you can really tell this place is a labor of love from the owner. He and his staff were more than hospitable and accommodating. I had picked up a chicken plate and a student special meal for my son. For a child who is very picky about food, he said it was the best Shawarma wrap he'd had. Everything was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. Highly recommend trying it out. It's a definite repeat for me.Sorry no photos, looked and smelled too good to remember to take photos.”
