“This feels like an old school vietnamese pho place, which is kind of a rare breed these days. There's no fancy deco, no big fancy rib bone dishes, just good viet food at good prices and huge bowls. The lamb skewers were ok but don't bother. The pho was massive, you could pick fresh or dry pho. Out of all the pho places in Toronto I would say this place gives the most meat, it covered the whole bowl and was over 1cm thick. Meat was fresh and tender too, with so much raw meat its hard to keep the temperature of the soup hot but this was not the case here. The soup was steaming hot, which for me is essential. My favourite place for Pho hands down, you can't go wrong“

“Would have gave them 5 stars if the service was better. We got seated right away but no one came to our table for 10 minutes and we had to call someone over. The guy kept passing by us and never once asked if we were ready or even offered us tea/ water. Not sure if certain people had certain duties but being passed by multiple times wasn’t a good look. The noodles also felt overly cooked since it had no bounce to it, but the broth was delicious.“

“This place I didn’t realize (my bad) has no tables or chairs. It’s like Vietnam plastic stools and low table. Kind to cozy but not a place to bring guest!! Menu options are a bit limited as well. But I’ll come by later by myself to give it another chance because the atmosphere is intriguing!!“

But the staff absolutely sucks the guy with the glasses is slow they don’t come up to you they just sit there you have to ask so many times for water I asked 6 times for a can of Coke I had to go and just get it my self from the fridge it’s absolutely ridiculous. Terrible service.“

“The pho broth was not oily. But it felt thin.
The meat in the soup was ok, not great. You know what you are getting.
The iced coffee 5 stars. Some places just dump the ingredients in, this was tasted measured. And it was sublime.
I used to go all the time, but lately it just feels mailed in. Still better than average, but not by much.“

“Some of the best Pho in the city! So happy the pandemic didn’t impact their recipe. Perfect dark brown, clear and fragrant broth containing tender rare beef, noodles and I add veggies. This was what I’d been craving during lockdown. As usual Viet Thai Kitchen didn’t disappoint! 10/10 recommended!“

“I decided to try a spicy bún bò instead of pho for my first time visit here, and it was the perfect choice for a warm meal after a long day of shopping. The broth was rich and flavorful, and what I really liked was how the bowl stayed hot until I finished, it made me feel even more delicious.
My friends also enjoyed the cơm tấm. The grilled meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the nước mắm sauce made the dish especially delicious. The portions are quite generous, one person may not be able to finish a full plate, so taking leftovers home is definitely welcome.
One downside is that the smell from inside the restaurant tends to stick to your clothes after you leave. Also, I noticed a bit of an MSG taste, which made me slightly uncomfortable since I am sensitive to it, my friends did not have any issues thought.“

“It wasn’t too bad, but my friend would probably disagree. I also felt that the owner didn’t have the friendliest attitude. She always seemed to have a judgmental look.

The staff, on the other hand, were humble and friendly.

The food was alright, in my opinion, and the drinks were okay too. Pricing is on the average side. But the portion is smaller than other restaurants. Usually there was no wait time in the past. However It has been getting busier nowadays. However, there wasn’t anything particularly special about the place. You can definitely find better restaurants out there.“

Phenomenal portions prices for the amount of food you’re getting is ridiculous (like 23$ gets you a bowl of pho with 2 beef ribs and ANOTHER bowl with a big ass bone full of meat and tender collagen). In the GTA that’s unheard of. The ingredients are high quality. Fantastic service. Open until 12am on weekdays and 2am on Friday and Saturday’s. “It's really affordable and high-quality pho, at a quieter place in the Scarbs. The cashier and cooks there are really quick to order and serve, despite the crowds and there's also sauces and garnish on the side for you to add to your dish.
There was ample seating too, when we visited on a weekday evening.

“We saw a server literally wipe leftover pho off the table directly onto the floor. It wasn’t just a few noodles , there were several large clumps left scattered around the floor. The server then walked away, and no one ever came back to clean it up. When the next customers arrived, they ended up stepping on the pho clump on the floor, and there were noodles left on the seats as well. It was honestly quite shocking to see, and it made me feel that the staff may need better training.

The food itself was good. The banh mi bread was very crispy and fresh, not soggy at all, and the grilled meat was flavorful. We enjoyed the food, but really hope they improve their sanitation practices“

“The food here was amazing! They have a variety of selections on the menu. The pho broth was ordinary but the crispy chicken and lemongrass chicken with rice were both great! The portions for the lemongrass chicken meal were so big I couldn't finish it and had to take the rest home. This is conveniently located in a busy plaza along Don Mills Rd. near Fairview Mall and other busy stores. Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area and craving for some pho!“

“There are many other pho places that are better than here but you come here coz it’s close by where you live and it is reasonable priced and relatively cheaper.

You can get a small bowl of beef pho at $12.75 CDN + tax, which is relatively cheaper than other places.

Although it’s a small size, it’s still pretty substantial that it fills my tummy.

It’s not a big place but it’s not that busy, so your chance of getting a table is high without long wait.“

“One of my favourite places to eat in this area. Been coming here for at least 10 years now and will likely be coming for another 10!

Food is great, Portions are big, prices are very reasonable. For people with smaller appetites, the large Pho is very large! (In a good way) My partner orders the medium every time and she has yet to finish it on her own (and she loves it)

Atmosphere is normally quiet and chill, CP24 playing makes it feel very cozy and reminds me of other Mom and Pop shops in the GTA. Service is usually snappy, but the restaurant occasionally gets a big lunch rush where things can take a while.

Final note: Try the Vietnamese coffee and Thai Iced Tea! They're great.“
