“Great experience here! Service was extremely fast. My favourite dish was the grilled pork with vermicelli platter where you can make your own rolls. Portions are generous and price is reasonable. The fried chicken wings with coconut sticky rice was a surprise. Very flavourful! You even get complimentary soft serve ice cream at the end of you meal.“

“This was our 2nd visit for lunch. We had chicken pad Thai and Bun Bo Hue today (attached pics) which were as delicious as the Pho combo and Chicken white meat soup that we had a two weeks ago. Flavourful soup, tender meat, reasonable prices for large portion sizes, nice ambience, friendly staff and lots of parking in large plaza. This place has become one of our favourite lunch spots!

“A cozy small mama papa Pho place located in the plaza. There are about 6 booths with another 6 tables. Enough space and does the job to fill your tummy.

I ordered the House Special Pho (medium), the broth is clean with subtle flavour which I appreciate. Pipping hot broth, the bean sprouts was has a nice crunch, good amount of leaves and lime slice.

The amount of meat here is generous and substantial that even medium was filling. Raw beef was tender and nice to bit on. I been to other pho places, once the raw beef gets cooked, it's so hard to chew and lack texture. Not here, first time I felt the raw beef has a nice bite to it.

I really enjoyed the beef brisket, good cut and thickness, good long slices of brisket with good amount. Luv the beef tripe here as well as it's has a good cut and decent size, unlike other cut the tripe so thin you can hardly see or taste the tripe.

ONLY drawback here is the lack of beef tendon in a House Special. I asked the server, she said there is NO beef tendon in House Special but she said if I requested it, they will provide some with no extra charge. Many other Pho places will provide beef tendon as part of their House Special, only here at Pho Mi 88 that you have requested. Anyhow, I will make sure to ask for beef tendon at no extra charge next time I come back.

The noods here are the thinner slices, which I personally prefer thicker noodles, but that's just my own preference.

Otherwise, it's a good place for comfort food. Good substantial amount of noods, meat and pricing. I told the staff that I rather pay more for value and good amount of meat here than some other places that maybe cheaper but cheap out on meat.

At $15.49 CDN + tax for a medium beef pho or $17.49 CDN + tax for beef pho is fair and reasonable.

“This is our go to local pho place. We also love the grill chicken and pork on rice. The pork chop has the bone in, and it's nice a tiny bit fatty for that awesome lip smacking juicy and savoury grill taste. The soup for pho is very tasty. I really enjoyed their beef curry as well. You can't seem to go wrong with most dishes. They also have specials from 5-8 pm on Mon to Thurs, so their deep fried butter wings are half off. Delicious and crispy!!“

I found their portions to be pretty big (for the pho dishes there were no size options but im sure you can let them know before hand if you have specific requests) We got their chicken pad thai, grilled chicken and pork vermicelli, and their house pho. Their pho broth was good, not to tangy or bland (it was a tad bit cloudy, for anyone who minds that about their broth iykyk) the toppings were perfectly balanced and you had a good amount of everything ☺️ the pad thai was great too! The noodles were perfect and not mushy (some places can get a bit past al dente 🤣) and the grilled vermicelli was soo good!! Definitely worth trying!! The staff here were so kind and helpful too so that's always a plus and the restaurant itself was clean 👌 including the restrooms. “I love this Vietnamese place. It's the best bang for your buck while still tasting authentic. The only one problem is if you get the older gentleman as the cashier, he will get your order wrong if you add any customization to your order; no mattet if he says okie or got it. One of my all-time top 3 pho spots in Toronto. 13 years ago, this was where I had my very first bowl of pho after arriving in Canada — and I still remember how comforting it was. Today, even with sky-high inflation, their prices remain incredibly fair, and there’s no tipping required. It’s rare to see a place stay so consistent in both quality and value. “Special pho dish super worth it, option between fresh and dry noodles, i recommend going with fresh as it's not a common option in the area. Fried spring rolls are also super crispy. “Best banh mi I've had in Scarborough, one of the best I've had in the GTA. It's on par if not better than some of the best I've had in downtown around Kensington/ China Town.

The prices are excellent, ingredients were fresh. I got a pork belly banh mi combo. The fries were surprisingly amazing.

A lot of fries suck or are okay at best, they serve home made style thin cut fries with the skin on, hot and fresh. I was more surprised by the fries than I was the sandwich.

The banh mi was amazing, but from a place known for banh mi sandwiches you expect it to be good.
