“A cozy small mama papa Pho place located in the plaza. There are about 6 booths with another 6 tables. Enough space and does the job to fill your tummy.

I ordered the House Special Pho (medium), the broth is clean with subtle flavour which I appreciate. Pipping hot broth, the bean sprouts was has a nice crunch, good amount of leaves and lime slice.

The amount of meat here is generous and substantial that even medium was filling. Raw beef was tender and nice to bit on. I been to other pho places, once the raw beef gets cooked, it's so hard to chew and lack texture. Not here, first time I felt the raw beef has a nice bite to it.

I really enjoyed the beef brisket, good cut and thickness, good long slices of brisket with good amount. Luv the beef tripe here as well as it's has a good cut and decent size, unlike other cut the tripe so thin you can hardly see or taste the tripe.

ONLY drawback here is the lack of beef tendon in a House Special. I asked the server, she said there is NO beef tendon in House Special but she said if I requested it, they will provide some with no extra charge. Many other Pho places will provide beef tendon as part of their House Special, only here at Pho Mi 88 that you have requested. Anyhow, I will make sure to ask for beef tendon at no extra charge next time I come back.

The noods here are the thinner slices, which I personally prefer thicker noodles, but that's just my own preference.

Otherwise, it's a good place for comfort food. Good substantial amount of noods, meat and pricing. I told the staff that I rather pay more for value and good amount of meat here than some other places that maybe cheaper but cheap out on meat.

At $15.49 CDN + tax for a medium beef pho or $17.49 CDN + tax for beef pho is fair and reasonable.

I would come back and try more dishes in the near future.“

“I ordered two items from the menu. The Vietnamese Crab Noodle Soup ($22.95) - I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a soft shell crab, on the side. And the Vietnamese Special Platter ($32.95). Both tasted good, but I was a bit disappointed with the amount of protein that came with the platter. I heard the restaurant provides complimentary soft service ice cream at the end of the meal, but it was not offered to me.“

Service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out fairly quickly. The space is fairly big, so the tables were not too close together, and there were a variety of options for different party sizes.“

Restaurant that specializes in pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes. First time coming here, I thought the pho was very tasty. The broth, noodles, and meats with the addition of bean sprouts, Thai coriander and Thai basil, were very authentic and danced together very organically.

Service was great! The cold water and hot tea were refreshing. This place looks newer than the other chain spots.

“Have been here a few times for various meals and it never disappoints. Service is prompt and efficient with a good check in process in place when you arrive and it's busy. Atmosphere is pretty no frills, but the restaurant is always clean. I don't come here for the ambiance, I come here to EAT. The pho is good value, you always get a good ratio of meat and noodles. The broth is clear and flavourful. We're also big fans of the deep fried vegetarian spring rolls and the grilled beef fresh rolls.“

“I decided to try a spicy bún bò instead of pho for my first time visit here, and it was the perfect choice for a warm meal after a long day of shopping. The broth was rich and flavorful, and what I really liked was how the bowl stayed hot until I finished, it made me feel even more delicious.
My friends also enjoyed the cơm tấm. The grilled meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the nước mắm sauce made the dish especially delicious. The portions are quite generous, one person may not be able to finish a full plate, so taking leftovers home is definitely welcome.
One downside is that the smell from inside the restaurant tends to stick to your clothes after you leave. Also, I noticed a bit of an MSG taste, which made me slightly uncomfortable since I am sensitive to it, my friends did not have any issues thought.“

“The best Vietnamese I’ve ever had for so long now. I’m from Los Angeles and we do have a lot of Vietnamese restaurants for us to choose from as well, and I am a self proclaimed foodie and travel a lot globally . And I can say that I’ve had great experiences with Vietnamese restaurants already before. But what set this place apart is that the staff/Management/server and I would shout out to Lang because he truly knows the definition of Customer Service.
I chose to come here along with my niece and her family that live locally because this place Pho In Love was highly recommended by a staff that claims to be a foodie like me at the Sheraton hotel lounge. And when we looked at the reviews, it had some amazing reviews to back it up.

Food was amazing, all the ingredients were fresh, portions are generous, and they were all as expected very flavorful. Ambience is cute and very clean. Parking is an easy access.
And above all, you feel so very welcome upon entering this place.
I’m so glad we tried it because it definitely met our expectations and beyond.

“I live in the US, and although we have a plethora of Vietnamese Establishments within a 20-mile radius of where we reside, I was looking to see what else is out there. My Aunt and Uncle live in a condo at Pharmacy and Finch, so it’s convenient and within walking distance when the weather is nice in the summer. My Mom and I had our eye on this place, but never had a chance to visit until a few weeks ago. The service is quick, attentive, and friendly and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is modern and upscale and the servers are intentional; they take the time to address any questions about the dish you are ordering and require you to inform them of any food allergies, which is extremely important to someone like me (I am allergic to mushrooms and eggplants, sadly). Binnie has taken care of us the past several visits and we enjoy her cheerful and conversational nature.

The true standout dishes here are the following.

It's got a good variety compared to the typical Pho places. It has a a list of Satay and Tom Yum bowls.
It has banh kok and bun ba hue.
Special drinks were free during its soft opening which was a big plus.
The interior decor was good.

For the price, their Pho bowls look pretty small. However, the noodle is free refill. My teenage boy, as tiny as the noodle size, had 4 bowls.

“This is a pretty good Pho restaurant with a good vibe in Markham.

If youre a pokemon fan, youll like seeing all the Pokemon themed decor and art. Its subtle and blends into the restaurants aeathetics.

I usually try the Pho Dac Biet on the first visit to any Pho restaurant. The soup was flavorful and rich, tripe, rare beef and beef balls is cooked well and the fresh noodles have a good balanced texture.

I was here for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon, it gets quite busy but I didnt have to line up or wait long.

The owner is friendly and I had a good chat with him about the pokemon cards.

I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. “Best banh mi I've had in Scarborough, one of the best I've had in the GTA. It's on par if not better than some of the best I've had in downtown around Kensington/ China Town.

The prices are excellent, ingredients were fresh. I got a pork belly banh mi combo. The fries were surprisingly amazing.

A lot of fries suck or are okay at best, they serve home made style thin cut fries with the skin on, hot and fresh. I was more surprised by the fries than I was the sandwich.

The banh mi was amazing, but from a place known for banh mi sandwiches you expect it to be good.

“I stumbled upon this and decided to go in. First, they have parking right at the restaurant, which is a nice perk. Second, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was tastefully done. Typically pho restaurants are minimalist at best. Third, the staff member greeted me politely and was very attentive while I was there.

When I received my food it was presented beautifully. Again, I was not expecting this kind of presentation at a pho restaurant. The most important part, is the food tasted great and the portion size was quite large. I would definitely go back.“

“This resraurant has been here for 18 years. Ive always loved the beef curry roti and chicken roti. Its the.same as when i had it many years ago when i lived in the area. I moved and would come perodically and its alwayd been the best and the two sisters that own it are so kind and hospital. The papaya shake was amazing. Spring rolls also top notch.
