“Pho Anh Vu is a chain Vietnamese
Restaurant that specializes in pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes. First time coming here, I thought the pho was very tasty. The broth, noodles, and meats with the addition of bean sprouts, Thai coriander and Thai basil, were very authentic and danced together very organically.

Service was great! The cold water and hot tea were refreshing. This place looks newer than the other chain spots.

“Have been here a few times for various meals and it never disappoints. Service is prompt and efficient with a good check in process in place when you arrive and it's busy. Atmosphere is pretty no frills, but the restaurant is always clean. I don't come here for the ambiance, I come here to EAT. The pho is good value, you always get a good ratio of meat and noodles. The broth is clear and flavourful. We're also big fans of the deep fried vegetarian spring rolls and the grilled beef fresh rolls.“

“I live in the US, and although we have a plethora of Vietnamese Establishments within a 20-mile radius of where we reside, I was looking to see what else is out there. My Aunt and Uncle live in a condo at Pharmacy and Finch, so it’s convenient and within walking distance when the weather is nice in the summer. My Mom and I had our eye on this place, but never had a chance to visit until a few weeks ago. The service is quick, attentive, and friendly and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is modern and upscale and the servers are intentional; they take the time to address any questions about the dish you are ordering and require you to inform them of any food allergies, which is extremely important to someone like me (I am allergic to mushrooms and eggplants, sadly). Binnie has taken care of us the past several visits and we enjoy her cheerful and conversational nature.

The true standout dishes here are the following.
10/10 would order again!

“Tiny restaurant. Always full but the tables turn over relatively quickly. Wonderful silky smooth Pho. Very nice Bun. And my favourite Laska Pho. Try the hot Vietnamese coffee with milk.“

“Still in its first week of soft opening, service was excellent. Food was great.
It's got a good variety compared to the typical Pho places. It has a a list of Satay and Tom Yum bowls.
It has banh kok and bun ba hue.
Special drinks were free during its soft opening which was a big plus.
The interior decor was good.

For the price, their Pho bowls look pretty small. However, the noodle is free refill. My teenage boy, as tiny as the noodle size, had 4 bowls.

“It's really affordable and high-quality pho, at a quieter place in the Scarbs. The cashier and cooks there are really quick to order and serve, despite the crowds and there's also sauces and garnish on the side for you to add to your dish.
There was ample seating too, when we visited on a weekday evening.

“The location makes this place a hidden gem, this is ,if not, the best pho place I have ever been. The portion size says small but in reality it’s very filling and the broth is so rich, the staff create a super lovely and comfy environment that differs from other pho places who are very to the point and sometimes rushing you. They give a warm smile and are patient. I cannot stress enough how delicious the food is… truly amazing, this is my new go-to pho place ugh🤤. (Side note: the spring rolls are super crunchy and at the same time have a bounce to it? Whatever they did it was amazing..)“

“Best banh mi I've had in Scarborough, one of the best I've had in the GTA. It's on par if not better than some of the best I've had in downtown around Kensington/ China Town.

The prices are excellent, ingredients were fresh. I got a pork belly banh mi combo. The fries were surprisingly amazing.

A lot of fries suck or are okay at best, they serve home made style thin cut fries with the skin on, hot and fresh. I was more surprised by the fries than I was the sandwich.

The banh mi was amazing, but from a place known for banh mi sandwiches you expect it to be good.

“We have been going to this place for years. Either its dine in or take- out, It's always good food and reasonably priced. Even home delivery is good portion unlike other places where they tend to skimp on the ingredients for takeout and delivery. I highly recommend this place.“

“I ordered pork vermicelli and I find this is the best I have ever had especially the fish sauce. The pork is grilled just right and tender. . Other restaurants only provide tiny bowl of sauce and not enough for my liking. Mr spring & Mrs fresh is very generous and gave me more than enough sauce.“

I finally got to try congee. Very good. I got egg and pork. Comes with roasted garlic fresh ginger and green onions. You have to like these items too or you might think it is skimpy. Needs a bit more pork.
The only reason I did not give a 5 was the percent charges seen in photos. We will be back. Bit might not be our first restaurant pick.“

“Just tried this place for the first time, and it really hit the spot! The pho was amazing—so much flavor in the broth and plenty of meat. The broth was well-seasoned, and the fresh noodles and side dishes gave off that comforting, homemade vibe. The Pad Thai was super tasty, and the avocado slush? So refreshing! They keep the menu small and prices low, which is a win. Food came out really quick, too.

The dining area is spacious and clean, plus they take credit and debit cards. Oh, and they offer a 10% discount if you pay cash, so it’s a good idea to bring some extra cash to save a bit.“

Every time I visit it brings back so much memories from high school, rushing out on our cars to eat here, hangout, and going back to class. There was no traffic back then.
