“To be honest, I have never experienced anything like this before.

I had no intention of leaving a negative review, because the issue was already addressed that same evening. The restaurant apologized, accepted responsibility, and we considered the matter resolved.

Throughout the entire situation, we remained polite. We did not swear, insult anyone, or cause a scene. We simply raised our concerns respectfully after waiting an extremely long time for our food, while some people at our table had already finished eating and others still had not received their meals. In restaurant service, that is a major issue. What made it worse was that no staff member came to explain the delay or provide any updates.

What I find disappointing is that three of you used three separate Google accounts to respond to my review and indirectly identify me by mentioning our table number and even commenting on my local accent, calling me low EQ. Then you claim that you were not referring to me specifically.

I understand that you gave the restaurant 5-star reviews because you had a positive experience, or part of their promotion( 5 stars review for a free dish) and that is completely your right. However, by repeatedly targeting me in your responses, you have only encouraged me to leave more than one review. Our group had nine people — if I wanted to, there could have been nine reviews instead of one.

Arguing back and forth through Google Reviews is not helping the restaurant. If you would like an unbiased public discussion, feel free to post the situation on Facebook and I will gladly respond there.

If these personal attacks continue after this review, I will also make a Facebook post about the situation. I do not believe that would be beneficial for the restaurant, and I would prefer not to take it that far.

I sincerely hope this is where the discussion ends. This was originally a private matter between me and the restaurant, it was addressed, and I believed it had already been resolved.“

“If you want real Southern Vietnamese food, this place hits the spot. The flavors are very home-style, seasoning is bold, savory, and super comforting. I always come here whenever I’m craving a home-style Vietnamese meal. Portions are big and everything comes out hot, perfect for a proper lunch (or dinner).

I really liked the meal set for two, canh chua fish soup, braised pork, fish sauce fried chicken wings with sticky rice, and the beef salad, all tasted very authentic. First time coming to this place with family, and I loved and appreciate the simplicity and kind service the owners offered. With plenty of food on the menu there, I ate the Phở Dặc Biệt / Special Soup as well as the gỏi cuốn and enjoyed every part of it. I felt welcomed and looked after. The prices were very affordable, and made me feel very full!“

“The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. Absolutely loved this bánh mì spot. I added extra chà bông for $0.50 and extra meat for $1.50, and it was 100% worth it. The banh mi came out so full and generously packed, just how I like it. Every bite felt satisfying and well balanced.

The owner is an older gentleman, so it took a little longer to prepare, but honestly I didn’t mind at all. You can tell he puts care into what he’s making. If you’re planning to visit, just be a bit patient, it’s worth the wait.

Also tried the fried banana and it was fresh, warm, and sooo good.

“I always come here for my Bun Bo hue. Best bowl of Bun Bo hue in the city hands down. Also their deep fried spring rolls are also amazing. I highly recommend trying it out if your looking for that perfect bowl of Bun Bo hue with such rich and spicy broth served with great variety of tender meats. “We used to live right near Cơm Phở Thế Kỷ and it quickly became our absolute go-to spot. Even though we’ve moved an hour away now, we still make the drive back whenever we can.
