Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!Banh Cuon Dac Biet L - Now this is pure gold, I can unequivocally call this a taste of Vietnam in Toronto. Delicately thin rice rolls encompass a tasty blend of minced pork and wood ear, accompanied with cured pork that's slightly sour and garlicky, crispy mung bean and shrimp cake and a fragrant chili fish sauce. It is satisfyingly complete and delicious and I question how such thin sheets of rice flour can hold so much filling.
I really liked my pho here. The highlight was the chili garnish they serve on the side. This was really spicy, flavourful and delicious. I'll be back for another bowl of the fully dressed (rare beef, tripe, beef ball, etc.) pho soon.

My family and I used to go here all the time, they have new owners now but they’ve kept the delicious flavours and authenticity alive. The Banh Cuon Dac Biet with the fried shrimp cupcake is so good, made so fresh. The Bun Mang Viet (bamboo and duck soup) is incredible. The sauce it comes with to dip the duck is full of flavour. One of my fave viet spots in Toronto.
