Homemade gnocchi was delicious and friends that ordered the chicken Marsala also enjoyed their meals. Sebastian was a delightful host. Cozy and warm with delightful jazz standards playing at a reasonable level allowed for easy conversation.“

“It was my first time here and I know I shall be returning several times again. We were greeted by the wonderful Mr. Giovanni and seated immediately (do make a reservation, space is a bit limited) ..we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccini bolognese and for dessert the Tiramisu, chocolate lava cake and a cappuccino. The accompanying Garlic rosemary bread is fantastic! The food and desserts were par excellence, really hearty and well made, truly authentic and delicious. The pasta was made fresh in house, light and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very pleasant surprise. Go for the desserts, especially the Tiramisu it was worth all the calories.
Service was excellent, Christina and Reina were so friendly, hospitable and kind as was the main man Mr. Giovanni who made sure every table was personally tended to. Truly hard working and kind staff, something I come across not too often these days in the city. I will be visiting again to try the other dishes they have to offer, but in the meanwhile just want to give this place all the praise it truly deserves.“

“One of the best places I have been to lately Toronto, great authentic Italian food, with amazing service. If I go to a place with the most amazing food and I don’t get great service that just changes my entire experience. At Tutto Pronto eventhogh our servant was not Italian but he gave us the Italian restaurant experience. I love my appetizer, we loved the main and we love the grappa at the end. I just wish we were seated on the main floor as the second floor felt a little too low of a ceiling and didn’t give me the true restaurant experience. Overall definitely recommend 😋“

“Been eating at Cali's since I was a kid downtown at the original location.

I always anticipate a decline in the quality, but they have managed to keep the same experience for as long as I could remember.

It's a tad on the expensive side, but in all honesty, I never leave unsatisfied. I'll go for the veal, at least a few times every month.

No matter how many other places I try a veal, they never really match up how Cali's makes it.

“Discovered this Hong Kong restaurant inside the Monte Carlo Inn. They serve Hong Kong style Italian dishes, mainly rice and pasta dishes. Parking was free, and you enter through the Monte Carlo's main doors.

All lunch menu items came with a drink, soup, and garlic bread. Tea time menu came with a drink.

What we ordered:
- Pork Chop with Honey Mustard Sauce ($23.99) - 10/10.
Two large pieces of pork chops, glazed with honey mustard sauce. This dish was my favourite.
- Chicken Steak with Homemade Seven Spice ($22.99) 5/10
- We found this dish to be too bland. I didn't taste the spices, and ended up having to put some black pepper just to have some more flavour.
- Shrimp Linguini in Spinach White Wine Sauce ($15.99) - 7/10. This item was from the tea time menu and portions were still very big. Flavours were good. Shrimps were big. I just wish there was more to this dish.

Servers were very attentive. Lots of seating inside and very spacious. Tip: If you buy a VIP card for $10, you get 10% off your entire bill each time you use it. Doesn't look like there's an expiry date on the card. After our meal, we also received a $5 coupon for our next meal.“

From the moment we walked in, it was just like it used to be - cozy homey and very welcoming. We were escorted to our table by a very friendly gentleman, and introduced to our waitress. I regret not getting her name, but our waitress was absolutely incredible. Her knowledge of the menu was unreal, and her attentiveness and hospitality had us enjoying the restaurant without even eating anything yet. We ordered a few appetizers, a few different pasta dishes, and chicken and veal parmesan. The collective census of my family was that everything was fresh, delicious, flavorful and very satisfying. I've been to a handful of Italian restaurants and I've been disappointed 90% of the time. But not this time! They also allowed us to bring a cake and kept it in the fridge for us.
