“First time at this location and was greeted by the owner with a smile. Excellent food and good size portions. Even ordered food to go. Great customer service and very clean.I will definitely recommend this location.Thank you for your hospitality.“
“BEST NO FRILLS ASIAN RESTAURANT IN ONTARIO.They do Viet, Thai, and Chinese perfectly.I can go on and on about each dish but I’m not here to preach. I invite you to go yourself and experience the authenticity. I will continue adding more photos each time i order a new item.Flavours are consistent. They use quality ingredients and have held this standard for years. You get reasonable portions and it won’t break the bank. I eat here at least twice a week and I’m always beyond satisfied.Food tip:1) if you like spicy add extra spice to the chicken wings2) get a smoothie, idc which flavour , they’re all good3) their specialty noodles are guarantee a hit (bun bo hue, bun rieu, pho sate) so bomb4) no credit cards - keep food prices low5) they get busy**** takeout or dine in doesn’t matter, so CALL AHEAD you have been warned“
“Fast and affordable sushi with good service. This place is always very quiet and empty but it’s really not that bad. Everything is quite affordable and the sashimi and handrolls were good! We went on a weekday for the all you can eat dinner and the 5th person eats for free. It’s definitely a cheaper option than other restaurants in the area but you can get good value for the price.“
“I have tried almost EVERY thai express location you can think of in Ontario (in GTA and outside of GTA) as well as Quebec and I have to say, this is by far the BEST location. The food is always amazing with enormous amount of portion, always freshly made so quickly right in front of you, sometimes it takes only ONE MINUTE?!I have been coming here for over three years now and the consistency is unmatched. The interior is clean and open, with amazing kind staff. I probably go here at least once a week and it is a family favourite! They also prioritize dietary restrictions so my friend who is gluten free and my fiance who is vegan can also enjoy the food as much as I do without a single worry. If you want great food with great customer service from the sweetest staff, this is your sign to try the place out!Side note: I used to hate tofu but they deep fry their tofu and it is like a pillow and soaks up the sauce and so juicy, it is honestly the best thing EVER. Don't hate it until you try it ;)“
“The food was much better than expected and the presentation of the sashimi was fantastic. Quite a few options for food whether you're feeling sushi or other options. It's nice that there's an AYCE option in this area. They've added a lot of great options!“
“The best Thai restaurant that I've ever been to. The food is delicious and presented well. Our waiter was super friendly and checked in on us regularly. The place has a modern decor, and the lights in the middle can even become a show. Just make sure you come early or make reservations because it fills up quick.“
“The food is just amazing here. We have been to this place two times already and want to go a few more. Curry pad Thai has some unique twists. Curry chicken with rice is like none other! So many different unique options that I have not seen in other restaurants. Service is extremely fast! The food is ready in <5 mins. This blows my mind. Great service from the waitress as well.“
“Absolutely loved the Phat Kaphrao! Bursting with flavorful Thai spices, the basil leaves perfectly complemented the savory meat. The dish had a light kick of heat without being too spicy (I requested medium spice). Quick service and an authentic taste that took me back to the streets of Thailand. An easy 5 star for me! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian and vegan options if you request it.“
“I almost didn't find the place, but it's on the second floor. You need to pay attention for a door that has the "Pai" sign above it.The food was excellent! It exceeded my expectations and I didn't regret any of my choices. Although a little pricey, it's definitely worth it!The skewers were nicely seasoned but it was also accompanied by a sauce that tastes like red curry. I ordered the pad see ew with shrimp and chicken and it was better than any there pad see ew I've had at other establishments! I can't wait to go back and try other options. The service was nice, although we had to get their attention sometimes, they came immediately. The ambience of this place is nice and friendly. The tables are a little close but that would be my only issue with this spot.Vegetarian options: They have several options for vegetariansParking: You may have go around multiple times to find street parking“
“Everything we ordered was so good, except the today special~see bass. It's kind of over cooked, But the flavor was still good! It's a little pricey. I would say nothing bad expect the parking problem.Parking: Don't try to park at the residency area. We got tickets tonight even it was Sunday night. I hope they could have reminded the customers.“
“Best to get a reservation at this lovely restaurant during the dinner rush, and rightly so! The inside is very well decorated with fun elements like festival flags, a taxi display, and graffitied walls.I highly recommend the thai iced tea and the mango sticky rice. The northern thailand khao soi is also very authentic and flavourful. I'm excited to try some of their noodle curry options next!If you love spicy food, everything has great depth of flavour beyond the spice. Some dishes can also provide a milder spice level. But if you need an extra kick, you can ask for their delicious homemade chilli oil on the side. The service is wonderful and they also have a cash discount.Dietary restrictions: Items are noted if contains peanuts. Staff are very careful with any peanut allergies.“
“My favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto, food is always fresh and flavourful! Every menu item is delicious (yes I have tried them all) but I especially recommended the Bolan Pad Thai and Panang Curry Beef.Great cozy place for a date or dinner with family.“
“Food was great! It's yummy and I like the fact that we can choose how spicy each dish is.The service can be improved. We made a reservation and they sent a reservation cancelled text after I arrived. They gave the two years old kid a regular cutlery set. They kept checking on our table and interrupted our talk.“
“We ordered the Penang curry chicken with roti. It was delicious so we later added a coconut rice to go with the remaining curry and chicken. We also ordered the tom saap hotpot with beef tendon, which was very flavourful and filled us up. I enjoyed the mocktail which had a bit of spice (just right) and we finished our dinner with the classic mango sticky rice. The mango pieces were a bit small (maybe because it's not in season?) so we would probably come back and order the roti ice cream for dessert instead.Service was really good. Staff were always around filling our waters and they were friendly and responsive. We didn't have to wait long to get seated, order, receive our food. We sat and talked while enjoying our food and didn't get rushed to leave even when it got busy.Atmosphere was nice - decor was nice and clean. It was quite loud in the restaurant though so if you're looking for a quieter place, this might not be right, but great for if you like a livelier location.“
“I really loved the sip sip yogurt in this placeFood : the drink was refreshing and delicious with small pieces of the fruit you choose very tasty. There was an offer, we got 2 for almost the price of oneService : the service was excellent and quick nothing wrong about itAtmosphere: a very nice place with a view on the street if you want to eat insideHighly recommended for drink lovers“
“Classic. Thai Room is a steady and reliable place for lunch if you are craving some Thai. The food here is good, consistent and tasty.I love the spicy chicken dishes which never disappointThe chicken skewers are great. The atmosphere is very basic with simple tables and booths.Parking can be challenging here but worth a stop.Pricing is fair typically $15-20 per dish and most can be shared.“
“Customer service is always great here! It's conveniently right at the corner of Yonge and Finch. They have lots of different types of meals inspired by different Asian flavors. But you also have the option to build your own box. There's also a bubbletea spot here as well!“
“The food was good but the server was a little vague about portion sizes when we asked if we could share one she lightly pushed us to get two main instead of a main and appetizer and we ended up getting two mains but one would have been enough. Then when I got one tea which came in a teapot she refused to give another cup because I wasn’t allowed to share as it was for one, which made no sense to me as it’s my tea I should be allowed to do what I want with it as I’ll be paying for it.“
“I lived in Toronto for 5 years, ate at many places including Vietnamese and Thai restaurants. This place IS.... THE.... BEST... food around. Since moving to Windsor Essex Area, I stop at this place ever time we go North through Toronto. The prices are always fair, and the family run atmosphere is a welcoming touch. You guys rock, I hope you guys stay around for decades to come.“
“We had a group of 15 people for afternoon tea and snacks. The cook/ owner planned an individual sized menus for us with spring rolls, Indonesian fried chicken, grilled pork, meatballs and rice noodles in soup, curry beef and tendon, stir fried noodles with fresh vegetables ........with specialty tea/hot water. The bill was only $16/person all included. The service good and atmosphere cozy. We would come back again for sure!!“
“My gf and I were on the hunt for some thai food in North York after a summer yelp event nearby. And would you happen to know, we stumbled on the best thai place in North York! Tucked away next to Hero Burger at Yonge and Sheppard in a tiny unit which stretches back. You walk in and the ventilation is not great haha (it's quite humid). The drinks are definitely way more worth it in terms of value compared to it's other counterparts (they're big). I ordered a thai iced green tea and it was very refreshing! Not sweet at all.Crispy pork pad thai: It's not often you find crispy pork belly as an option for pad thai at places, so we opted to try. The pork was crackly, succulent and fatty. The noodles were nice and strong on the tamarind flavour. This was a great pad thai. Si Lom Thai Bistro (downtown) is the only other thai place I know that has a unique protein option (soft shell crab) for pad thai.Khao soi w/ chicken (mild): The broth is really, really good here. That being said, does it beat the broth at Pai Northern Thai (downtown) or Isaan Der's in Richmond Hill? Nahh. One tier below hehe. They put a lot of chicken in it though. So that's bonus marks.Service was excellent! There was always at least 1 server wandering around to collect empty plates/dishes and provide extra utensils/napkins.The other thing I absolutely loved was 15% CASH DISCOUNT. Bruhhhh that's so good.I think I'll pay a visit to the other BKK Thai location next time as their menu seems like it has a lil couple, extra items on it that this location doesn't have.“
“My family and I have been coming here for around 15 years and it never disappoints! The Pad Thai is so good (and authentic), any other Thai place we have tried has been an utter disappointment. I highly recommend the Thai Fresh Cold Spring rolls, which are filled with aromatics and veggies and served with a delicious dipping sauce, the peanut sauce chicken, the green curry, and basically everything else on the menu. The staff are so great, especially Joy.Vegetarian options: Each dish has a vegetable or a tofu option rather than meat.“
“At first my wife and I were skeptical by how good the food was from this specific location. We just ordered it again and it was even better. I've eaten at many of these and this specific location is amazing. They better do what they can to keep that chef ?? .“
“Best authentic and delicious pho. They dont skimp on any of the ingredients. Great seating area. The parking in this plaza is very hard to get a spot. The food here is good. I would highly recomend. The number 1 dish to try is the main pho it comes out within minutes and very tasty. I go here when i can.“
“When you have that crave for high quality premium sushi (and a deep pocket) come here. They have many many types of fish on the menu that no other places offer unless you take a flight to Japan ? For a quick take out spot, you’d be surprised how fresh and top notch they are I’m guessing because their turnaround is quite high and a lot of traffic. Items like Toro, sea urchin uni, Madai, unagi, salmon belly, Shima aji, maguro, Ikura, Hotate, Kanpachi, Botan Ebi, hamachi, to name a few.Of course if you’re on a budget they do have a simpler more affordable menu that is very competitive to surrounding sushi restaurants. It’s the best of both worlds!“
“We ordered the Papaya Salad, Shrimp Pad Thai and another rice dish with Rib Eye and everything was amazing! The delivery came exactly the time we needed and wanted it for, everything was fresh and hot, presentation and portion was perfect, and most importantly everything tasted authentic just like in Thailand! Will definitely be ordering again! Thank you so much Sandy!“
“Why this place isnt jam packed everyday i am still unsure. I love thai food and woodbridge may not be the first place you think of when it comes to thai but this place is always a hit. I find myself going back frequently with friends and family because its just so good. The green curry is astounding but for me, the kao soi is what really puts this place on the map. The vibe is cozy and its my favourite thai spot in vaughan with great cocktails and phenomenal service.“
“Best Hakka I've had in a long time! my family used to come here twice a week, and sometimes dine-in. Now with Covid, when we don't cook, we get take-out once a week till things get back to normal. We usually get the Chili chicken and shrimp (both dry) and the crispy ginger beef as our staple, surrounded by different dishes each time. everything is always delicious, and the staff/Ownership are so friendly! Royal Jade is truly a gem for us in this neighborhood. keep up the good work guys, stay strong, good times ahead!“
“It's a good place to have some thai food. I have tried pad thai, fried rice, and chicken dish. The food is not bad. Service is also good, however nothing remarkable. The price is decent. The fried rice was good. The pad thai was good as well. No complaints about this place. The spring roles were on the oily side, but it was tasty.“
“Lady was very nice and the food matched her kindness. Excellent!I got/tried their mango and Thai chicken (which she gladly gave me samples to try). From their I couldn't decide which I liked better so I got both. Combo 3 ( 2 meats, rice or noodle) was 11.99 + tax but I got a water bottle for 1.50 too so 15 bucks after tax. I would come again“
“The place is clean and very nice and inviting. And while it may not be the best Thai out there but it is tasty and there are lots of healthy options which I found to be a plus. I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. I found the price to be a bit higher than I would like (given the size of the entree) but it's not extremely inflated. I think it would be great if they had some good BOGO sales or special offers so that people in the area can try it out without much risk and maybe make it one of their regular stops.“
“My family has been ordering party trays from here for the past few years and they do not disappoint! Service is very friendly and the food always exceeds our expectations.Whenever I crave Filipino food, I always order from here off of Uber eats despite being over an hour away. Never disappoints :)Thanks Summer House!“
“It's a very delicious fast food. The most important thing is that while waiting for the meal, I took a look at the back kitchen. It's very clean and tastes very good. I can't wait to come here to eat there every day. It's delicious and affordable.“
“I’ve been going here for years. The pair (or couple or siblings or colleagues not sure) are the sweetest. The food always tastes delicious, fresh and fairly priced. The cook is always such a kind person, bless him.Lovely joint, go if you’re in the area & hungry for Thai.“
“I absolutely love this place and order from here weekly. The service is excellent and they remember the order and sauces you like. The portions are quite generous and the food is healthy and delicious. I highly recommend it and will continue to go back.“
“1. Food - good! Came out hot. Green curry chicken, cashew chicken, beef pad see ew were all tasty. We asked for curry dish to be very spicy and I think that was a mistake as it took away from the flavor. One criticism was that the curry was too runny. Maybe we could have asked for it to be made thicker. We prefer that. But food was good. 2. Service - we reserved our table for dinner and the server sat us at the wrong table so she apologetically asked us to move. When we asked for water we had to ask more than once. It was busy at the time but with the spicy food it would have been nice to get it fast. We ordered three dishes. Two came very quickly. We finished them and the third hadn't arrived yet. We had to ask a server for its whereabouts and then he brought it. It was very hot so maybe it just took longer to prepare but I actually think they forgot about it. The service was a 3/5 but the food was good so it balances out. 3. Ambiance - nice interior. Wood panelling. Booths. Very cozy.“
