“What an incredible meal. Everything was served beautifully, especially the grilled skewers presented right on top of a fresh banana leaf.
The flavors were perfectly balanced. I absolutely loved the variety of dipping sauces served in the small white dishes, and the fresh shredded cabbage added such a nice crunch to the plate. This place is a must-visit.“

“I’ve been going to Golden Bell for at least 20 years and although I’ve tried other Thai restaurants I’ve always returned to Golden Bell. The reason is simple, their Thai food is better, more flavourful and always spot on. I do however wish they were open Sundays and closed Mondays instead. :)“

“I haven’t had much sushi from there, only the unagi don meal set because other places are either too far or too expensive. I saw a previous review saying they were closed permanently but I’m pretty sure they were only closed for renovations… Anyways they reopen Thursday April 2 according to this sign. I hope they still have the unagi don. Regardless I’d give them a shot.“

“I go here at least once a month! The food is fantastic, decor is beautiful, and ambiance is lovely. I always for the bo bun nam Bo because the portion is so good and the iced Thai green tea is unmatched. By far my favourite Vietnamese spot in Richmond hill.“

“We ordered from General Thai to cater for my son's first birthday party. Tina and her staff were so helpful, and made everything so easy for us. The food tasted amazing and guests were asking where we ordered the food from. I was happy to recommend General Thai. We will be happy returning customers! Thank you Tina and staff at General Thai!“

“On Friday, we ordered a Thai Green Curry chicken.
They had a bad batch of curry sauce (very salty) so we told them and they immediately made two new dishes of Thai Red Curry chicken. It was delicious 😋
Not sure what happened with the Green Curry sauce this time as it was great on every previous occasions.
Their quick resolution of the issue was very much appreciated 👏“

“I was treating a friend to lunch who was hankering for Thai food - I have driven by this place a few times and looked online at the reviews. Every one was outstanding so decided to give it a try. Everything was perfect! The greeting when we entered, service and the food! Wow! Everything was very well presented and absolutely delicious. I will definitely come here again and try more of their specialties.“
