Som Tum Jinda is a popular restaurant known for its delicious and fairly priced food served in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant offers a variety of recommended dishes, including the pork jowl salad, glass noodles, Panang curry, and grilled pork neck. Customers praise the restaurant's flavorful and sweet dishes, particularly the Panang curry and Pad Woonsen Cha-on. While the environment can be busy and loud, the wait is usually manageable, although it is advisable to arrive early due to the smaller space. However, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. Despite some minor service issues, Som Tum Jinda is a great spot to share dishes with friends and enjoy a tasty meal.
Customers describe the restaurant as a "unique and authentic hidden gem" with food that is different from mainstream Thai cuisine, yet "absolutely flavourful and delicious." The staff have been praised for their helpfulness, with servers providing great suggestions for the menu. Many have enjoyed the papaya salad and mango sticky rice, although some noted that more mango could enhance the dish. The restaurant has also been described as "wonderfully authentic" and "Michelin recommended," deserving more recognition. The atmosphere inside is said to be "cool" and "colourful, like eating at a festival or market." While portions are easily shareable, some customers have noticed a difference in the amount of food for vegan dishes compared to non-vegan options.
