“We are not from this area, but passing through late on Friday night back to Peterborough, we decided to find a place to eat. Always preferring local eateries vs "chain" stores whenever we're in a new place, we rolled into Sasso's on a whim. Vince the owner was very accomodating. Service was great, and my only regret was we couldn't hang out and experience some of their wine selection to go along with the fantastic food! (too long a cab ride...) Kudos to the chef! We'll definitely seek it out again next time we're in the Nobleton area. Thanks guys.”

“Walking into this St.Philips on a Sunday in Nobleton has become a ritual. I’m a Big fan not only of the actual space but also the stuffed croissants, bombe, zeppole, French sticks stuffed with hot peppers, fresh mortatella and the sound and smell of coffee being made is music to my ears.I have to say in this times with everyone complaining about not being able to find competent staff , St. Philips has managed to do the opposite the friendly young staff is polite and hard working it’s a joy to see .Thank you for providing a beautiful space and vibe that’s the closest to the Italian culture as possible. “This coffee place is just amazing because of the location. This outlet is located right in the middle of the field and the attached highway road so right after grabbing your coffee, you can park your car and just enjoy the scenic views of the green lawns and blue sky, while taking sip by sip of your hot and fresh coffee. “Just had an amazing experience here, the food is delicious and the portions sizes are perfect. Carl was our server today and he is a delight. He brought with him a very positive attitude and we even shared some tears of laughter. He was very attentive to our orders and even went to the back to check ingredients on the kimchi they serve as I have a shellfish allergy (it is safe btw). I had the kickin kimchi eggs benedict with the breakfast poutine. I would recommend the spicy hollandaise sauce as it is packed with flavour. I also tried the new tropical bliss smoothy which was very very tasty. Thank you Carl for the awesome experience and Pür & Simple for the awesome food. we will definitely be back!”

“This place is dangerous. I had saved this place to try their croissant but I knew as soon as I walked in that I was gonna leave with much more than that. I ended up getting a tiramisu cheesecake, pistachio cheesecake, two loafs of multigrain sourdough bread, pistachio croissant, and some lemon raspberry thing. I would have taken pictures, but I brought it to a dinner party and everything got devoured. My favourite was the tiramisu cheesecake, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything.”

Our server (poor guy) had to repeat what was quite a long list of the specials to every single table. I couldn't remember half of them when he had finished so I ended up just ordering off the menu. It's a bit much to ask the servers to remember all the specials and then expect the guests to remember all of them. We feel like we missed out. Write down all on the specials on a board and let the guests take their time in choosing. Apart from that, the place was great and would have no hesitation in dining there again.”
