“The Bun Bo Hue was amazing. I usually get broken rice or bun thit nuong at Vietnamese restaurants. But this place was named correctly and I had to order the special soup. Couldn't go wrong with the dish and gave me a new appreciation for it. Friendly and warm service from the Vietnamese aunties. Calm and cozy spot. Bring cash! Definitely will be dropping by again in the near future.“

“Just felt like some pho on a cold Sunday night and wow wasn’t expecting it to be this good. The place was empty when I walked in and then like 2-3 people max showed up while I was eating. I appreciated the calm ambiance ngl but I feel like this place should be packed cause their pho was soooo delicious and even though I got the small soup it was still huge and it had a a lot of meat. Staff was very kind and prompt also. I will definitely come again and recommend to friends!!“

“Pretty average pho, very pricey, have definitely had better pho elsewhere for a better price. The bone marrow pieces were large, lots of meat in the pho itself. Quite a bit of tripe, if that’s your thing then I’d recommend this spot to you. Had Vietnamese ice coffee, was pretty yummy.“

The owner is super friendly and very helpful.
The food always hits 😋 food is fresh and we always leave satisfied! The staff is great and food comes out in a timely manner. We've been coming here for years and we will always come back.“

“It was our 3rd time here so were looking forward to the pho, which has an excellent broth. Noodles are so tasty too. I am on a diet and it was hard not to eat them all. We went on a Thursday around 5 so it was not to busy. Service is always fast and friendly. One thing to note: They only accept cash on the weekend, so either bring enough or you will have to use their cash machine. I mention this as most people there did were not aware and there was a line up at the machine one time.“

“This is my go-to spot in the neighbourhood. I have never dined in, I call ahead to order takeout. Service is speedy and they’ve always been polite. I personally don’t love bean sprouts (but I hate food waste!), and they’re kind enough to give me only basil and lime in the lil bag of condiments for my pho.“

“Right off the bat I can whole heartedly recommend coming here and at least trying the food. I've been to a lot of Vietnamese Cuisine all around Southern Ontario, plenty good, and some okay. Com Pho The Ky, is in my opinion, is among the top; a place where the taste, portion of the dish, and the price of the meal offer exceptional value.

When I visit, I'm attended to right away - not once do I have to wait to be noticed. The food arrives together on time, while it's still hot. You can reasonably feed 2 people off a single dish's portions, so you'll always leave the restaurant full or with a take-out box. The taste (at least for the Phở Bò Kho) is rich and full, not watered down or tame, which you may or may not prefer - however for me this is a welcome experience.

Don't be fooled by aesthetic or atmosphere of the restaurant, it's clean and quiet (at least when I eat there after work), and it gets the job done. You go here to eat plenty of good food for good prices, where you can have a peaceful meal without being rushed.

“This is superior pho - the best I've ever had in Canada or the USA. The broth is flavourful yet delicate, the beef is never stringy, the chicken is always moist, the trimmings are always fresh. And the owners are simply the best. I can't speak to the rest of the menu but the soups here are all top shelf and the cha gio is to die for.“
