Vit Beo Reviews
Great flavors and friendly staff. Cozier Ave more pleasant to eat in than most take away type places. Not much meat on the bahn mi but what was there tasted great.
Decided to have Vietnamese cuisine on a whim, looked for a place in the neighbourhood that had vegan options and my oh my was it a fantastic revelation! Ordered pretty much all of their vegan dishes - the Vegan Pho, the Vegan Banh Mi, Turnip Cake, Dumplings and Cucumber Salad - every single dish was amazing, packed with incredible flavour. Staff was nice, welcoming and fun to talk to - you can tell there are cool people in-charge here. Glad to have found this cozy little spot,...read full review

Vit Beo provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere with friendly and quick service. This small, diner-style Vietnamese spot is known for its amazing food, featuring a selection of craft beers. The vegan pho is highly praised for its flavorful broth, bok choy, tofu, and oyster mushroom, creating a delicious combination that many love. The red chilis add a light touch of heat, enhancing the experience. Visitors also recommend the chicken Banh Mi, which is fantastic with extra kewpie and meat, as well as the pork belly congee and egg fried rice, which are described as absolutely delicious. The Turnip Cake is an interesting dish served with a tangy vinegar sauce that pairs well with the fried cake. The fried rice has a chewy crunch that many enjoy, and the cucumber salad is considered the best, with its taste and textures being on point. While the soup may cool off quickly, asking for their chili oil can help keep it warm. The atmosphere is perfect for quick solo lunches or catching up with friends, especially since they run a lunch-only menu during certain hours, making it ideal for small groups of one or two. The staff is super friendly, mindful of allergies, and makes every guest feel welcome, often curating great music that adds to the good vibes. Overall, Vit Beo is a great spot for tasty, thoughtfully prepared food in a warm and friendly setting, with a focus on high-quality, fresh ingredients.
