Kim Vietnamese Restaurant Reviews
I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli and spring roll (Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio) and it was one of the best I’ve had in awhile! The spring roll was delicious and the dish itself was great! The lady who served me was very friendly, I’ll definitely come back next time I visit Toronto!
The owner is so kind and warm. I ordered one spring rolls and two rice noodles, and I never knew how delicious it tasted until today! Such a great meal🥳
This is what I want in a culturally-different restaurant experience: the owner offering genuine recommendations, explaining specifics about how to eat the food, and forcing me to drink tea when I’ve got a runny nose. Super attentive and kind staff. Felt like I was back in Vietnam.

Kim Vietnamese Restaurant is a beloved, family-run establishment in downtown, serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Its dishes, such as the Fu-kien noodle and grilled pork & spring roll noodle, are praised for their delicious taste, reminiscent of the real thing in Vietnam. The restaurant is known for its affordable prices and warm atmosphere, making it a hidden gem that deserves love and appreciation.
The reviews describe the food as sublime, with their specialty soup noodle and bbq pork dry noodle/salad being particularly praised. The owner is noted as being friendly and helpful, suggesting ways to customize the dishes. While the atmosphere is described as a "mom & pop" and "hole in the wall" with room for improvement, the focus is on the authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Customers recommend coming for the food, not the atmosphere, and trying the unique regional dishes like the Hokkien Noodles/Bún-mì-vàng Phúc-kiến, which is hard to find elsewhere.
