The Lunch Lady of Saigon Reviews
Delicious. From the appetizers to the main dishes and the sticky rice for desert. You’ve never had sticky rice like this. It’s a MUST Have. The friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced. We were well taken care of and well fed from start to finish.

The Lunch Lady of Saigon, located on Ossington, offers an elevated take on Vietnamese cuisine in a modern and stylish setting. The service is warm and welcoming, with knowledgeable staff who show care and cultural awareness. The cozy interior is beautifully decorated and invites customers to watch the kitchen in action, adding to the unique dining experience.
The restaurant's offerings include a delicious Vietnamese twist on the classic beef carpaccio, as well as a house special wagyu pho with rich and tasty components, including beef cheeks, oxtail, and bone marrow. It is a phenomenal, rich and fatty pho that closely resembles the pho in Saigon. Other notable dishes include the wagyu beef noodles, which are rich, flavorful, and satisfying, and the duck salad, which is fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. The pork tomahawk is so well seasoned and perfectly cooked, and the shrimp fritters are so crunchy and delicious.
While some dishes may not entirely live up to expectations, the restaurant's unique offerings and inviting atmosphere make it a great place to hang out and enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. With its trendy vibe and friendly service, The Lunch Lady of Saigon feels like a good entry point for those new to Vietnamese food and a great spot to revisit for its ambiance, drinks, and unique dishes.
