“Pretty good for food court food, and came out relatively quickly considering it was grilled fresh. For the price it was a good amount of food. Food was pretty tasty except for the noodles. The vermicelli was somehow undercooked and overcooked, parts were stiff and brittle, other parts were stuck together and crumbling apart. The broth for the Pho is seafood broth with a very shrimpy flavour, which was a little off considering we ordered beef pho.“
“The food is what brings me back. Great spicy selection and the service is almost always amazing. Even when I had one bad experience the manager was just amazing and helpful to fix the problem. All other visits have been friendly and inviting. Recommend this place for a good meal if you have strong taste buds that can handle a bit of kick in the spice.“
“We went in a large group and was glad to have one of the only two large tables available. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman from Vietnam, and his service was good and attentive. We ordered Pho beef noddles/ spring rolls/fried rice. They were good and delicious. Much better than others in this vicinity. We did not encounter any of the service problems mentioned in the other reviews here. Our experience has been pleasant and good.“
“Great Oakville location as there isn't anything like it west of Erin Mills. The menu is extensive, but only the pho is exceptional. The broth is very tasty, not greasy nor thick. Toppings, noodles and piping hot broth are great.Rice dishes were ok, as the chicken was previously cooked and reheated. Friendly efficient service, in a typical no frills dining room.“
“We went for early dinner at Pho Mama. Ordered curry soup with Goat. Broken rice with three toppings Chicken , vegetables and hot pan fish. Starters were mango salad with prawn crackers and fresh barbecue rice paper rollsVery delicious, flavorful. Excellent service very warm family friendly atmosphereFood is so fantastic we will be going there in the future for sure“
“We went here for Pho after shopping at Square One and was blown away! Definitely a huge contender for my favourite pho and broken rice place of all time (and I come from Scarborough/Markham, land of pho). The variety on the menu is impressive, yet they never compromise on their specialty. Their crab egg was so umami, and you can definitely taste the BBQ smokiness in the pork and chicken cutlets. The broth is also darker than other places, and you can taste the different approach. It’s a deep and thick pho broth.Their tea is also specially imported from Vietnam, and served complimentary with dine in so be sure to check that out, too! As a tea connoisseur it was definitely very nice tea with a malty taste.“
“Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in Mississauga. Big portions and quick service. Place is clean. Our server was probably new as we had questions and he couldnt answer them. A couple of the cook were yelling loudly in the restaurant. Felt a bit sorry for the new dude. Still recommend as the food is good and will most likely be back.“
“I thoroughly enjoy eating Pho, and today marked my first experience trying Pho XL. To say it exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. Not a single drop of soup or a strand of noodles was left behind - it was that delicious! The broth, noodles, and beef were impeccably cooked, each bite bursting with flavor. I wholeheartedly recommend Pho XL to anyone craving a delectable Vietnamese culinary experience. What's more, knowing that the chef/owner boasts 40 years of experience only adds to the assurance of quality and authenticity. A must-visit for any food enthusiast“
“A truly delicious and delightful vegetarian restaurant ♥️♥️♥️! Very tasty food, (we ordered a lot of food) generous proportion; excellent service and such a beautiful ambiance/atmosphere with lovely decor. Paul, the young man who waited on us (my 2 friends and myself) today March 1st lunchtime, is commendable, helpful, polite and welcoming ?. So happy to have found this wonderful place. A return visit is a must. Thank you so much Paul and the restaurant staff for this awesome experience.“
“I passed by Bs while driving past Oakville and tried out the pork banh mi. The pork is thickly cut loin which is mildly spiced. The sandwich included the pickled veggies and topped with hoisin sauce. The sandwich is definitely bahn mi elevated. Quality ingredients for sure. But I think the pork banh mi is a miss for me. I wish there was a little fattier piece of meat, sliced thin and seasoned a bit more. There's an element of bahn mi that is missing which is the mayo or pate.I found the sandwich a bit dry and in my opinion it could have done with a bit more sauce/pate.The other sandwiches looked pretty good like the meatball sandwich. This is definitely a popular place so I'm sure I'll be back to try some of their other offerings.“
