This is not food court food although it is in that section - this beats out full restaurant establishments. I will be making this a more frequent stop - even if I am not shopping. “I had a really great experience at Basil Box. The food quality was genuinely impressive—everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell they put care into the ingredients and preparation, which made the meal feel both satisfying and wholesome.

What stood out just as much as the food was the service. The two staff members who helped us were both incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive. They took the time to answer questions, made helpful suggestions, and made the whole ordering process smooth and enjoyable. Their positive attitude really elevated the overall experience.

“My daughter and I came here for dinner tonight and it was FABULOUS!!! Great service, very friendly staff, delicious food, clean restaurant. Overall exceeded our expectations! I had red Thai chicken curry and my daughter had chicken chow mein and added some shrimp to it. We also had egg rolls and some yummy fried shrimp to start. Everything was so yummy. I would have taken a picture but we ate most of it! Highly recommend this place!“

“The most expensive bowl of pho I’ve ever had, but that price reflects both the quality and quantity of the pho. Angus beef, beef rib + a choice of 2 additional meats. I couldn’t even finish the noodles that came with it. The soup base was also the most flavourful that I’ve ever had.“

I got beef pho and the iced coffee while my husband got beef and chicken pho with mango bubble tea. We also shared the deep fried pork spring rolls. Everything was AMAZING! “The prices here are really low and their banh mi was quite good, especially for the price. The pickled veg didn't seem pickled and there wasn't much of it. There also wasn't any noticeable pate. We tried the original, satay beef, and lemongrass beef. I liked that the satay one was spicy but preferred the flavour from the lemongrass. This definitely follows the pattern of combining the same ingredients with different sauces to get different flavours but the sauces are distinct and it works well. The coffee was fine but I enjoyed the size of the ice that the machine produced.
They have a sign that says that the prices will get you and the service will keep you. I found the service a bit strange as he rushed us to order because there were customers behind us who were also still deciding what to get and we were standing on the side so others could order. He also asked us how much our order would cost or how much we were giving him which was a bit strange.
The small store was absolutely packed with different things and it seems like anything you're looking for you could find here. I didn't like the lack of prices everywhere or labels as someone who has never had most of the items but what we did get was good.“

“We have been coming here since I lived in Mississauga, and it is one of my favorite places for pho. We usually order pho, but this time we also tried the Pad Thai and fried rice with BBQ chicken. The pho was good as always, and my kids and I really enjoyed the fried rice and BBQ chicken. It was very tasty. I did not enjoy the Pad Thai because it was a bit overcooked and did not have much flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and we could not finish everything, so we took some food home.“

“Good food and great service and the price is reasonable. I liked the deep fried squid with spicy salt and the meat and seafood on soft egg noodles. The waiter Brian who helped us was friendly. I asked him to take our picture with another couple dining with us, and he jokingly said, “Sure, just $10 per picture!” The place is clean, including the washrooms, which is important to many customers like me. I just wish they would not leave the cleaning brush and supplies inside the washrooms, as I don’t like seeing and smelling them before eating. The brush was clean but I still think it is more classy to keep them out of sight.“

“It was our first time visiting this Vietnamese restaurant, and we were not disappointed at all! It’s actually the first time I’ve been able to finish an entire bowl of pho — the broth was so flavorful and comforting. Even the kids kept asking for more!

The Pad Thai was also incredibly authentic, yet light and refreshing at the same time. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

“Came here tonight to get some food for take out, Ct01,P12 and A03 in other words well done beef flank soup, spring rolls and a plate with rice and meat. When i came home and opened my soup. The meat was rare and i wanted well done. Im so upset i had a long day at work and now i have to cook my beef for my soup. Highly disappointed.But they are always sweet with the service and my other food was great fresh and hot!“

“Great place to eat with a lot of people. We came after The City Church 10:15am service with approximately 15 of us and they were able to accommodate on the spot. Around lunch it did start to get really busy though.
The cha gio (fried spring rolls) are amazing.
Instead of pho I ordered the vermecilli with well done bbq pork and the shrimp and spring roll. It was so delicious and filling. My kids ordered the wonton egg noodle soup and enjoyed it as well. Can never go without my avocado shake smoothie either! With it was a bit sweeter tho. But definitely the right smooth creamy consistency. Our server with the thick gold chain was hilarious. Many of them were attentive to us. Will come back here!“

“We travel all the way from Rochester NY in the United States a three hour drive to get these Banh Mi for $4 ca each. They sell out sometimes, so we order ahead but they have other authentic Vietnamese treats there. My family has been going there for years, wonderful hardworking people. The Banh Mi is best toasted and eaten at home as a snack.“

“My daughter took me here for her favourite Pho soup. We each had the BT special pho noodle soup (with beef, flank brisket, tenderloin and tripe). Very thinly sliced meat, bean sprouts, Thai basil, chili pepper, parsley, onion and amazing seasonings. The small was more than we could each finish. One of the best flavoured soups. Delicious. Served with complimentary jasmine tea. Also shared an order of Vietnamese spring rolls. Also delicious. Beautiful decor. Large dining area.“

“This is a must stop anytime I'm in the area. The spicy lemongrass fried tofu is a must try! Don't think I've found any other place that can compare. Been coming here since I was a kid. “I called in 2 orders of food. A combo & Cantonese Chow Mein. Just mentioned It’s my husband’s birthday today. Hubby picked it up but we were surprised by the amount. Portion is bigger than most places. There’s a variety of meats. Taste is ok. Up to you to add more saltiness but really good. I’m a bit critical by nature. But I’m satisfied with this restaurant. Customer service is also excellent. Thank you.“

“I've been coming to this restaurant for years and I've tried a lot of different pho places. I honestly really like the taste of their broth better than a lot of other places I've tried, and I've tried a lot.

The food is good and I would argue the portions they give you are a lot better than other places. This is honestly my go to spot for pho and I think others would enjoy the taste.“
