“I went here for a birthday celebration with some friends on the weekend. I ordered the Prosciutto Panini from the brunch menu and it was very filling and delicious!The staff were friendly and the restaurant wasn’t too busy for a Saturday.There’s no parking lot for this restaurant so expect to walk a bit either from street parking or a public lot nearby.“

“It’s nice to see these little places still thriving post-pandemic!I’ve only been a few times and always in the morning. This place is clean and bright and simple, and independently owned. Their English muffin breakfast sandwich with egg cheese and bacon is great paired with a drip coffee or a fancy flat white. Can’t beat the price either! Coffee and sandwich for about $10. I’d rather give them my money than gross TH or Starbucks!“
“We had a great time at The French celebrating my friends birthday. The ambiance and decor is lovely. Our server Viktoria was attentive and knowledgeable, she went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. My friend has the steak frites cooked to perfection and I had the Duck Confit. Both dishes were amazing, my duck was a little dry but didn’t take away from the entire dish. Viktoria brought out a candle with the dessert which was very thoughtful and kind. We will definitely return, brunch is calling us!“
“My partner and I did the Valentine’s Day set menu and I can’t express how impressed we were. It was so delicious and felt like fine dining but was so affordable. The atmosphere was so cute and intimate it was the perfect way to spend our Valentine’s. I have been for over a number of times over the years as well and love the baked good. I will say, I miss the coconut and tahini lattes soooo much. They were so good and really set the cafe apart from the rest downtown.“

“Your experience probably won't match mine. I went on a night after a local week long food festival and the place was empty. It was my partner and I enjoying the warm atmosphere as though it were our personal dining room. I can imagine how much fun it would be while full but while empty the staff are eager to create return business with personal, detailed attention. They still had the specials from the festival and they were exceptional, experimental and delicious. I had gnocchi in a tomato sauce and a hearty potato soup with plenty of bacon and chicken. What really set them apart though is the fact that I left my phone onder the table and it was returned to me the next day by an understanding and accommodating manager who opened the doors early knowing exactly what I was there for because the staff had set it aside for me the previous night. A great experience in the heart of Oakville and I hope they stay for years to come. Ask for Phillip if you want to enjoy the same level of service I had.“
“If you are looking for a place to cater a party with delicious food that your guests can't stop raving about, than this is your place! We ordered 3 large platters (Pretzel, Italian and Schnitzel) and 2 desert (cookies/squares & strudel) platters for a family gathering and I've never had so many compliments on the food. And we had enough food to serve those guests who stayed another day as well as a few meals. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!“
“The food at Kamoosh is always so delicious - there isn't a bad choice on the menu! The ambiance and decor is beautiful and the service is amazing. My girlfriend and I have had Shaq take care of us on multiple occasions and he is fantastic - personable, attentive and very knowledgeable! He genuinely cares for the people he's taking care of which really enhanced our overall experience! Its always a treat when we go and we can't wait to go back!!!“

“Charming Bistro, with warm atmosphere, great food and friendly service. I had the pasta special of the day, Mushroom Ravioli. It was fabulous. Rich puréed mushroom sauce with chorizo and delicious mushroom filled ravioli. Waldorf salad looked (and tasted) great, and fabulous dessert menu. Nice wine list. Reservations recommended as it’s busy - no wonder!“
