Our family of 4 adults came to visit the gardens on Sunday and since we drove from Toronto, decided to start with brunch at the Bistro. We arrived and were seated within minutes of our reservation. Our waitress came over not too long, 5 minutes, and took our drink orders. We got those promptly. Our server Josh was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone raved about the food: the pickerel both in the fish sandwich and plated were delicious and we loved the soup so much we asked Josh if the chef might share the recipe...which he did in general terms. After a walk through the beautiful Rock Garden, our meal at the bistro could not have been better and we will definitely be back!
We waited at the welcome desk 15 minutes to be seated despite a reservation. The food was good but not exceptional. The wait staff was working way too hard and more staff was needed.
